My daughter is having a great time at Annex Dance learning hip hop! She’s never taken dance classes before, so it was a gamble whether she would like it. My daughter and her friend signed up together and it’s a great activity for them to do together!

I'm attending the academy with me 2 year old and she loves their toddler class! I cant wait to see how ballet goes next. Lovely teachers and beautiful space for downtown Toronto!
We only just joined the Annex Dance Academy and already love it! Firstly, they were so responsive with any of my inquiries. They let us do a free class to observe and after the class, my child was so thrilled, she's been talking about it every week and is anxiously waiting to start in the Fall. The teachers were very understanding when she wanted me in the room and was participating minimally at first. They never forced her and still gave her a sticker at the end, which she really appreciated. Overall, we are excited to continue our classes here and would highly recommend it!
My daughter has been dancing at Annex for the last seven years, and is part of Annex competitive team and dance company. This studio is like a family, the owners and the teachers truly care for each one of the students - and it shows in how the students are encouraged to care for each other. The dancing is creative, skill building, and beautifully conceptualized - I have rarely had issues to the studio: but any raised over the years were addressed immediately. This is consistently a kind, safe, thoughtful community of dancers, parents and teachers - culture like that only gets built by a studio that really cares about their mission.
My daughter has been dancing here for many years and adores everything about this place. The teachers are fantastic and have instilled such strength and confidence in her and her dance teammates. She is happiest here in this amazing community of dancers and teachers. We couldn’t be more thrilled with Annex Dance Academy.
Great first dance class for my 4 year old. The teacher was cheerful, animated, engaging and my daughter responded really well to her. It was such a joy to see my daughter really enjoying herself, the music and movements. Looking forward to the rest of the season and watching her play and grow :)
