I joined BDS last winter, and my experience has only gotten better with time. My instructor, Samruddhi Save, is one of the finest dancers and teachers I have ever come across. It has been a privilege to learn under her. The passion and energy she carries are truly contagious. All the instructors at BDS are incredibly talented and radiate amazing energy. Thank you, Parth, for creating this platform where we can celebrate our love for Bollywood and dance while connecting with fellow dancers who share the same passion. Highly recommended!
Grateful for such a supportive and inspiring experience. I took the Contemporary Course with Kalpit and it helped the shy dancer in me to perform on stage and bring emotions to life. Kalpit is a motivating and thoughtful mentor who is highly skilled. 10/10 recommend taking a workshop class and joining the progressive course.
When I started my class in Oakville, i was very nervous the first day but later started looking forward to going for my dance class. My instructor Samrudhi Save (Sam) is a wonderful teacher and an amazing dancer. She is very patient with her students and teaches students based on their needs. She has this positivity that is so inspiring. After joining the class and learning under her, i feel age doesn’t matter if you get the right instructor to motivate and encourage you. I did the show recently because of her encouragement and belief in her students. Thank you Sam and BDS for spreading joy through dancing!
My daughter attended sessions here and she loved every bit of it! Adnan is a wonderful instructor and his dance style is out of the world! My daughter got a chance to dance twice on the stage and her confidence was beyond the roof thanks to Adnan! Awesome team and great work! Highly recommend this place!
This is our second year here and I cannot begin to express in words just how wonderful the experience has been! All of the instructors are full of amazing talent, have great energy, are incredibly patient, and are so nurturing especially with the younger kids. No one judges, and everyone is there to have a good time and learn!
Exceptional experience start to finish for my 3 semesters back to back.(Downtown class). I love how inclusive they are and promote growth and learning within a group setting. Instructors are incredibly talented and passionate about their craft. They have a personalised approach even in a group setting and that you would excel and improve on a daily basis. They are very dedicated to their student’s success and will make sure you feel comfortable while motivating to push your boundaries. I would highly recommend to try them out at least once and you would see the difference why you should join BDS over others. Plus you get to meet so many people and take some friends for life. Thank you Parth and Samira for going above and beyond creating such an encouraging learning environment!! :)
I’ve been dancing/learning with the lead instructor (Parth Dani) since 2016 and, been taking classes with BDS Canada since it’s inception in 2019. I only have good things to say about them. They not only ensure you have a good time dancing, but also teach you the basics of dance forms incl. terminology so you’re always learning and growing. Their routine to every class goes something like this: 1. Start every class with a dance warmup to prepare your body for the session 2. Depending on the type of class (course/pop-up), the instructor will teach you the routine for the song (usually a great Bollywood track) and go over the dance step-by-step, and count-by-count 3. You can ask them to stop and repeat as many times you like, and they’re very patient with new joiners 4. Learn the overall song, record it at the end for reference, and share with students at the end And overall just have a fun time dancing. Their instructors are great (shoutout to Parth and Samira) and the sessions are such positive energy and a great pick-me-up after a workday. Every student, be it a beginner/intermediate/advanced is catered to (incl. kids - they’re fab!!), and a host of locations to choose from across the GTA! I’ve made so many great friends for life and I’m thankful to BDS Canada for the great work they continue to do! Keep it up!!
