I was greeted with a friendly smile by the staff in the lobby and my wait time was short and reasonable. The Doctor was polite and professional! She never rushed me and answered all my questions and concerns. I felt comfortable and highly recommend this practice.
This clinic truly prioritizes patient care. I had two moles removed, my recovery was under 24 hours, and there’s virtually no scarring you can barely tell the procedure was done. If you’re looking for a clinic that genuinely supports women’s health, I highly recommend them.
Br Beach does have thorough information of skincare products and while I appreciate her expert advice and want to acknowledge her advanced knowledge she doesn’t seem to listen to the wants of her clients and instead insists on choosing what she wants for her clients.
Very disappointed with the medical care I received at DermAtelier on Avenue. I requested for a follow-up in-person visit with Dr. Beach as my hair loss & shredding was significantly worsening since the first time I saw her. I’ve also developed bald spots (which I wasn’t experiencing during my first appointment). During our first visit, she indicated if no improvement over the next 6 months or if any new symptoms to follow-up with her again. I reached out to her clinic for a follow-up, however I was unable to make an appointment with her instead I was automatically sent a prescription for minoxidil to my pharmacy. I followed up with her clinic to request a brief follow-up call with her. Her staff advised I could not speak or make a follow-up with her before starting the medication. They insisted I start the medication, despite me indicating I don’t feel comfortable starting a new medication without consulting the doctor first. I was advised if I had questions to email her but to only ask 2 questions max or I would be charged if I asked more, which would be $75+. This is not a professional way to take care of patients. Before prescribing a new medication, patients should be able to discuss what the medication is, side effects, long term effects, contraindications, and etc. I am truly disappointed and upset that I had a negative experience. I’m sorry but I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone. This clinic is all about the money, instead of genuinely caring for patients’ needs.
I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Beach, and I cannot recommend her and her entire team highly enough. Dr. Beach is incredibly caring, patient, and knowledgeable. From the moment I walked into the office, the staff made me feel welcome and at ease. They were all professional, friendly, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Dr. Beach took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answer all my questions, and ensure I felt comfortable throughout the visit. Her dedication to her patients truly shines through. I’m so grateful to have been referred here and am confident in the care I’m receiving. If you’re looking for a dermatologist who combines expertise with a supportive team, this is the place to go.
I have been to dermatologists in the past who have flat out shrugged at my presenting skin issues, and sent me on my way. Dr Beach did no such thing. She thoroughly investigated my case, even sending me for bloodwork to rule out autoimmune diseases, and she offered follow up to her investigations and treatment suggestions. She listened to me about secondary issues that I felt were related to my overall skin issues despite only having capacity to manage one medical matter at a time. As a Black woman, having a doctor who will consider race or gene specific issues is so important. The staff are all very lovely and helpful. They were able to get timely answers to my follow up questions by phone. Parking is very close and affordable. The office is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. There was a bit of a wait but that's a common occurence, especially for a doctor who will take their time to make sense of things. Thank you Dermatelier and Dr Beach, I will definitely be back, even to explore cosmetic options.
Dr Beach and her team of service professionals not only take the time to understand their patients needs but also work to establish trust and build rapport. The level of care and attention to detail is really refreshing and when you add impressive outcomes it just make it a worthwhile experience! It’s great to see her share her Black Girl Magic in this space!!
