I had such a positive experience at Doggieland - Bloor Street. I was nervous taking my dog for a long day of day care but he was well looked after and didn’t want to leave! The managers Laura and Chris were so kind and answered all my questions. Oscar can’t wait to come back!
Bowtie our corgi is now 8 1/2 years old and has been coming to Doggieland Bloor West since he was a 10 week old pup and got home visits. I am finally writing a review! He goes 1-4 times a month and for all his life, and also a few times has boarded there (Vaughn location - all good!). Basically he wants me to tell you that 1) there is no place he LOVES more than Doggieland, and 2) please could he go there every single day?? please please please, and 3) his mom (me) thinks that the staff is amazing, caring, professional and the BEST - especially Chris, Maddy and Laura. We love you Doggieland.
This place has amazing trainers (especially Chris) and a great facility. My dog Waffles gets so excited to go to daycare that he doesn’t even look back at me when I leave! Waffles started out as a very shy pup who was nervous about daycare and being away from his owners. I remember the first time we left him at Doggieland he gave me such a look of betrayal I nearly cried. The staff did such a good job working with him. I imagine some daycares might have not taken Waffles on in those early nervous days because of how timid he was. I am so proud that my dog has done a total 180 and much of that has been because of this daycare. The staff loves Waffles and he LOVES the staff right back. I know my dog is really taken care of whenever I drop him off. As a nice bonus, every time I pick Waffles up from daycare he’s very tired, and he’s a high energy breed so that isn’t easy. I truly can’t say enough good things about this place.
Enjoyed the puppy play sessions that were held on Thursday. Unfortunately could not continue as they did not accept titer tests. Hopefully they revisit their requirements, as titre is far superior and safer for dogs.
This place is extremely valuable for the busy dog owner. They love dogs and dogs love them. It’s an amazing way for your dog to get exercise and socialize.
My golden retriever absolutely loves going there for a groom. He has been a few other places over the years and he actually really likes getting groomed here. The staff are great. He is getting to be an older dog and they let him have a bit of a nap halfway through the groom. Really considerate.
Took my pup here for puppy play dates. The first time it was definitely nerve wracking as you are not allowed to interact with the dog. They were right, it taught my dog confidence.
