Tried the cookies and creme and its really good. The doughnuts are a bit pricey though over $5 for one so best to share. The flavor wasnt overly sweet nor greasy which was nice. Staff is very approachable.
Walking into Marry Me Mochi felt like stepping into a pastel daydream. With soft, girly vibes and a playful energy, the café set the stage for desserts that were just as pretty as they were delicious. The Strawberry Marry Me Donut was light and airy, coated with a delicate glaze that gave just the right touch of sweetness. The Skorgeous Donut had more depth: the crunch of Skor and toffee bits added a caramel-like richness that lingered after every bite. The Matcha Strawberry Pocky Mochi Puffs were fun and unique: chewy, earthy matcha balanced beautifully with sweet strawberry, and the little Pocky crunch gave them a playful finish. The drinks were just as memorable. The Ube Love Water looked dreamy with its purple foam and tasted refreshing, the coconut water base keeping it light while the ube added a hint of creaminess. Meanwhile, the Viet Coffee with Salted Cold Foam was bold and robust, softened by the foam so it wasn’t overwhelming — a perfect balance of strong and smooth. What stood out most was the texture of the mochi donuts. They weren’t heavy or greasy but had that signature chewiness that made each bite satisfying without being too filling. With over 12 rotating flavours across their Toronto and GTA locations, it felt like a place you could keep coming back to and never get bored. At Marry Me Mochi, the desserts weren’t just sweet treats; they felt like little love notes. It was playful, indulgent, and left me smiling long after the last bite. Definitely say yes!? First time visiting Toronto and this was on our list to try. I absolutely LOVED the mochi donuts they were delicious!!! The place looks amazing. It is located along a strip with shops/food with cool vibes and culture. Definitely must try!!
Marry me mochi sure knows how to make a dessert look pretty. Beyond the glamor and detail, you have an above average pastry that could do better. The flavour depictions actually taste like its counter part. However the entire concept of mochi was hard to grasp. When you think of mochi, I personally think of chewy, soft pastry. The pastries we had did not fulfil that ideology of a mochi. Regardless, the taste was still amazing and I would order again, but don’t expect that bouncy texture.
I got an ube mochi doughnut and pistachio chocolate doughnut bites. THEY WERE THE BEST DESSERT FOODS I HAVE EVER HAD! I extremely recommend!! The service was also so kind and the atmosphere was so cute and lovely! 10/10!!!!
I had this yesterday. The 8$ mango and (I forgot other flavor) beverage was sooo good. It was not a bubble tea, it had strawberry pieces inside, and the cup was cute too and stylish. 8$ is a bit too much though. My mouth keeps remembering this taste and i wish to have another. If I ever stop by this again, I will order it. The donut samples were not very comfortable in eating, I think that can be improved, but overall staff are nice and food is good.
Not a bad bite to grab in kensington, I enjoy the flavours! I got the birthday mochi - nice QQ. However the area is quite cold and I feel awful for the worker clearly freezing there. I hope they invest in some heating.
