I attempted the exam twice. During my first attempt, there was a microphone issue during the Listening section, which completely distracted me. As a result, I couldn’t focus properly and didn’t perform well, especially in the Reading section. The following week, I took the exam again. This time, the system restarted in the middle of the Reading section. Although the staff provided me with extra time, I became very anxious and lost focus, which affected my performance in the remaining sections. After the second attempt, I was asked to write a complaint and provide feedback. However, I was later informed that since extra time was given, nothing further could be done. While I appreciate the extra time, the issue was not just about time—it was about the mental stress and disruption caused during the exam, which significantly impacted my ability to concentrate and perform. Unfortunately, both attempts ended up being a waste of money due to technical issues beyond my control.
I’m very frustrated with this center. I submitted a Speaking EOR on May 11th, and after nearly a month, I still haven’t received a result. All I got was vague excuses about a system glitch. Also, my Speaking test was booked for 12:00 PM. I arrived early at 11:00 AM just to use the washroom, but they took me into the test room around 11:10 AM without any notice. It was unprofessional and left me unprepared. Poor communication and lack of respect for test takers. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Waste of money and time.
I took the IELTS computer test. Staff were polite and helpful. Moreover, everything was organised well. They sent my result in just one day. There is only one thing that could be improved. Unfortunately, the headset does not filter well other sounds.
I made a mistake trying to chose the exam and I went to Ielts building / CES and a really kind girls was helping me to solve everything about my test and I appreciate that so much because all the time the Ielts team was helpful and proactive. Thank u so much
I took my IELTS exam at CES Toronto, the facilities are well maintained and the staff was kind and prompt to help. The results were ready within the estimated time, I wanted to pick up my results personally, but I could not make it during the week when the center is open to deliver the results, when asked for other options the staff helped me, they talked to their manager, and he allowed me to pick up my results exceptionally on Sunday. I recommend this place to take the IELTS exam!
I’m not writing this comment for my self-interest guys. I got in contact with bunch of different ielts test centres. This is the only location wanted to help me, literally! They are being super responsive and helpful! They also have both paper and computer based options to make it easier for you. The best location ever. Special thanks to Michael.
