In my opinion honestly way better than the Ethiopians restaurants around Ossington. The dishes taste more fresh and home-made. Great portions for the price. I'll be bringing more people here!

I love this place. Whenever I'am coming to this place and grab "Samosa" I call to them to make it for me. They always make it 5-6 minutes. Staff is humble and food is pretty hygiene and delicious.

Delicious food, big portions, and unique experience! This is the kind of cultural food you can't quite replicate at home. Cozy spot. Service is a tad bit slow but very attentive. We got the Special Veggie platter and it was HUGE. Everything was tasty, homey, and seemed quite healthy. The injera bread is like if a pancake tasted like sourdough and I personally loved it. Sometimes food doesn't need to use crazy flavours or do something "big", and this is one instance where the simplicity really hit the spot.

The food was absolutely incredible! So flavourful and filling. My first time trying Ethiopian cuisine and it was thoroughly enjoyed by me and my family.

Really delicious + friendly owners. If you get a platter for two, it's a huge portion. They have a lot of fun items on the menu that I would like to try next time, like Ethiopian tartare!

Outstanding Ethiopian fare! The Qiqil—a mild, flavorful lamb and Carrot ,potato stew —and Mesob veggies special platter bursting with lentils, gomen, Fish and fresh salads were tangy, spicy perfection on spongy injera. Generous portions, vibrant vibes, and spot-on service. Shoutout to owner Ahmed, a genuinely great guy who made it feel like home. Must-try—back soon!

I had the pleasure of enjoying kitfo at Mesobs Restaurant, and I must say—it was absolutely delicious and authentic. The texture, flavor, and the way it was seasoned truly reminded me of traditional kitfo at its best. It was served fresh and perfectly prepared, with the right balance of spices and clarified butter. A real treat for anyone who loves Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine! I noticed someone mentioned that the kitfo had tomato sauce in it, which surprised me. In my experience at Mesobs Restaurant there was no tomato sauce added at all—just the classic ingredients you’d expect in a well-made kitfo. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding or a one-time variation, but my meal was genuinely satisfying and true to Ethiopian culinary tradition.
