I had an excellent first experience at Chroma! The owner, Giada is very warm and professional. She truly listened and understood what I was looking for. Although I initially asked for highlights, Giada recommended adding some lowlights as well, and the result was perfect as was my haircut. Highly recommend.
EDIT : August 19th The owner responded to my original complaint and I’d like to correct their error. Yes they called me back when I complained - the owner was extremely rude on the phone. She offered service - I never went back. I had a wedding event to attend. Till this day - I have not revisited this location. Poor customer service. Note to the staff and owners - check your tone when speaking to customers. Original review - July 5th 2025 I came in for a blowout and was very clear about the voluminous look I wanted—something I’ve had done at other salons with no issue. Instead, the stylist used a flat iron to give me crimp-like curls that didn’t hold and fell flat within hours, with straight ends that looked unfinished. When I gently shared that I’d had better results elsewhere, they implied I needed a haircut due to having no layers, which felt dismissive rather than helpful. I paid $75 for a service that didn’t deliver and left disappointed. I called to express my dissatisfaction and was offered a free service, but the owner was incredibly rude over the phone. At this point, I don’t feel comfortable returning and would rather be refunded. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this salon based on the experience and how I was treated afterward.
I recently discovered Chroma via instagram, and i have to say it’s the best salon i’ve been to in ages! Giada & Jairo worked their magic and i ended up with the most beautiful blended highlights toned perfectly to match my skin tone, and the best haircut i’ve had in years. She carefully walked me through the whole process from start to finish without skipping a step. Jairo took the time to do a in depth consultation for my haircut, and now i have an amazing shaggy cut that will last me ages! i feel like how i walked in to how i walked out i’m a completely new person. I appreciate the whole team from getting me a coffee when i walked in to getting my service done to check out with excellent product recommendations from Alicia. Will definitely be back!
I did not have a great experience. My cut and colour were so disappointing. I felt my stylist did not listen to me. You did my hair. I will call the salon later today. Vita did my hair. I waited a few weeks before I commented to see if I liked. I did not.
Had a very pleasant experience at chroma. I came in with very uneven choppy hair and bangs way too short from a previous hair cut and different stylist (not from chroma) and Jairo worked his magic and completely fixed my hair. I was hiding my hair with a headband and buns/ponytails but now my hair is bouncy and shiny and pretty much exactly what i wanted so I don't have to anymore. I couldn't be happier with the service I was provided I swear you won't be disappointed if you decide to go to chroma. Safe to say I won't be going to anyone but Jairo from now on.
Spent (with a minimal tip - which I am sad to say I did tip) $90 on a wash and blow dry! Yes, I do have long hair but the most I was ever charged was $55 at any other hair salon. Ricardo was my stylist and he only did one shampoo. I have never been to a salon where the stylist only did one shampoo and for the price I paid he did not even provide a 2 minute head massage during conditioning. He put the conditioner on my hair and maybe let it set for 30 seconds and washed it out (as I understand Ricardo had no appointments before or after me so I don’t know why he was in such a rush to do my hair). I needed a last minute appointment the day I booked and my regular place was not able to take me so I guess Chroma charges a premium for same day appointments? I go to a salon regularly and I am pretty knowledgable on how a simple wash and blow out should be and this was below reasonable expectations. Way over priced for less than basic services. Won’t be going back.
Mathew was WONDERFUL, Not only has my hair grown out super beautifully after the cut, but he kept me in stitches the entire time. Glad I found this place
