I did a keratin treatment here, and at first, my hair looked smooth. But after a few days, I started noticing a lot of white flakes and buildup on my scalp (as you can see in the pictures). My scalp became itchy and uncomfortable, and I never had this problem before the keratin. I followed all the aftercare instructions and used sulfate-free shampoo, but it only got worse. It feels like the product wasn’t rinsed properly or maybe something in it irritated my scalp. I’m really disappointed because I expected my hair to be healthier after the treatment, not damaged like this. I hope the salon looks into this seriously and helps fix the issue.
My wife had a horrible experience there they burnt her hair and it basically fell out in areas it almost looks like she had her haircut when my wife went back to get her hair done again she requested another person that is when she was denied and she was told that the owner would do it again to the same horrible results. My wife's hair looks extremely uneven in the back and she refuses to take responsibility
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I believe it’s important to speak up about my experience. I visited this barber shop hoping for a simple haircut, but I was treated with clear disrespect. The lady refused to cut my hair, not because of the style or technical reasons, but because I am Black. Her attitude was dismissive and unwelcoming from the moment I walked in. She made no effort to hide her discomfort and even said she wouldn’t serve me — without explanation. No one deserves to be treated this way based on their race. This kind of discrimination has no place in a community as diverse as ours. I hope the management takes this seriously and ensures that everyone, regardless of background, is treated with dignity and respect.
Pls don’t come here a couple of days ago i got an haircut from here and they did the worst job ever literally my hair is so unevenly rn and not only that i had gotten another people complaining about how they did their haircuts and which i was reading about is that they don’t clean their equipment very well or at all.
Waited for a long time, then someone jumped in front and took my spot in the queue. I was waiting there by myself for a while. Easy to notice I was next in line. Nothing was done by the staff. Never going again.
Went there for hair color hair cut , hair color was ok but when a guy with ponytail washed my hair his hands were like a hammer , so so painful and harsh , his english is not good so he doesn’t understand anything , they force you to do more things like styling or highlighting to make more money , this place is ok but stay away from that boy with ponytail , also they used some liquid to remove color from my skin and it gave me a skin rash and pain
Extremely bad work, Christie and one other chinese guy with dyed golden hair are a group who openly insult customers, become personal and use abusive language .They also curse in mandarin language too. They destroyed my hair style, over charged, very expensive, arrogant, and bizzare attitude. The scisoors , trimmers hair dye chairs and towels etc are extremely dirty, stinky and full of germs. They never clean them. I got severe eczema on my skin in this dirty salon. City of Toronto must take immediate action against them. Never go there and never get hair cut or any service from Christie and the chinese guy.
