Sorry for the late reply. I was just too caught with my beloved hair and going out to the party. I had fun and was excited to cut my hair (did that on Aug 9). I should I have taken a picture of it, a lesson learn. Got too excited! My hair stylist is so lovely and fun to chat with. I, too, learn so much about different hair types, different techniques, etc. The environment is wonderful and their services are great! Thank you so much!
Nina is horrible. Prices are high. I paid $60 to straighten my hair and it was very bad. When I said it's bad she said it's because your hair is damaged. Long story short, do not go to Nina.
Stephanie (now at Natural Solutions in STC) came to the rescue after my hair was butchered at First Choice. She was extremely pleasant, kind, and reassuring from start to finish. She was able to fix this hair nightmare without having to cut much off. I am so impressed with her work and I feel confident to leave the house again. I only trust Stephanie with my haircuts now! I don’t mind paying a little extra for this level of expertise and especially since I only get a haircut 1-2 times a year. TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY SHE SAVED MY HAIR!!
Love love love coming here. They're always able to accommodate my time. Stephanie Does my hair. She's fabulous amazing personality and super friendly. My hair is natural and thick and textured. I booked an appointment online at this salon, someone from the store called me the next to confirm my appointment and the services i wanted to get. I confirmed my appointment to be at 12:30 on December 24. When I reached there for my appointment they made me wait 50 mins which i thought wasn’t professional. I still didn’t bother anyone and waited for someone. However one of the receptionists walk up to me to tell that i have to wait another 30 mins. At this point i got upset, as I’m already sitting for an hour which an hour late from the actual appointment time and i told her that i have another appointment to be at 3:00. They tried to make it seem like something happened on their end as they booked me for 2:00. I pulled up my phone right away to show that i booked an appointment and i have confirmation text message and a call from the store to confirm my appointment. At last they decided to accommodate me with some other stylist. I happened to only get toner and a haircut, for which i paid $203. Mind you that i had the same service last time in august, THE EXACT SAME SERVICE & i paid $151 last time. I was so confused when she told me it was $203, and there were no apologies and sympathy for all the mishaps. ONLY IF I COULD SPEAK TO THE MANAGER and tell how unprofessional the people at the store are. And HOW COULD YOU JUST CHARGE CUSTOMERS WITH WHATEVER YOU FEEL LIKE. WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GET MY $50 BACK
It was a WOW moment!!! The services at Curio Hair + Body are amazingly exceptional. Customer service is way beyond 100% and it's done in a respectful, friendly and professional manner. The place is neat, clean, comfortable, and it's just relaxing. It was my first time receiving services from here, but it is memorable and definitely will be continuous. Stephanie, is such a Gem, she is very knowledgeable, she walked me through how to care for my hair, she didn't just assume that I knew everything, I learned a lot from her and I truly appreciate the knowledge and do's and dont's. I look forward to experiencing more of their impeccable services. Highly recommended.
