I’ve come here a few times just for a blowout and I’ve loved it every time. The staff is nice, the place is clean, and my hair always comes out smooth and lasts for days. Honestly a really good spot for a blowout.
Never let anyone except Terry touch your hair, I’ve seen him before and it was fine. However, I was here yesterday and had almost all my hair cut off. A young woman who never gave me her name was my stylist. I showed her a reference picture, which would have cut about 6 inches off my hair. She barely glanced at it and cut off about 10. She didn’t even ask if the length was okay before making the first cut, which was almost all the way down to my scalp. Once she made the first cut it was too late. I’m devastated, my hair is so important to my self expression and she ruined it. This is the shortest my hair has been since before COVID. I will never be coming back. I went from being able to experiment and learn to love my curls to having what is basically a pixie cut. I’ve cried over this.
I recently visited Terry’s Barbershop and was very dissatisfied with the experience. The haircut I received was uneven and messy, lacking the attention to detail I would expect from a professional barber. In addition, the pricing felt inconsistent and unfair. I was charged $50 for a haircut and beard trim, despite the standard haircut price being $25. In the past, I had typically been charged around $35 for the same service, so the sudden increase was unexpected and not justified by the quality provided. Overall, the service did not match the cost. For that reason, I would not recommend Terry’s Barbershop to others who are looking for both quality and value.
It is obvious that there is a language barrier here, and the way they solve the language barrier is to ignore your needs and arbitrarily modify your hairstyle. In fact, the lack of English proficiency does not affect the experience too much, but the perfunctory attitude is really uncomfortable.
Terrible, asked for a trim ended up with short hair because the hairdresser wasn’t doing her job properly. she cut one side too short first so she had to make the other side short too. I’m very upset
there was a women who doesn’t even know what she does… she damaged entire hairstyle and me look like cartoon. Worse hair cut, plus you will see attitude from her upon asking for correction. Would never recommend this saloon.
terry was nice but she just does what she thinks looks good. also she is impatient. like i literally showed her a pic of what i wanted and she looked at it for like 2 seconds before producing something that was nothing like the look i wanted. she also left the back uneven. all in all it was not a good experience but then again you get what you pay for. if you want something basic it might work but def do not recommend if you want a relaxing haircut with someone that listens because she will cut your hair as quick as possible and not give much thought to it. did not even wanna go back to fix it because she would mess it up more.
