Disappointing burgers that don’t taste anywhere close to the original Craft burger joint that Big Smoke is now Poor quality burgers and sad to see such an iconic Toronto burger joint go down the tubes.
First and most, i love a tasty fresh all fire grilled burger, FIRST time for me at Big Smoke Burger ,VERY disappointed was not what i was looking forward to , unexpected taste , it tasted like an assorted sub sandwich (CRAZY RIGHT) but it did ,toppings i suggested ,1 classic burger ketchup, mustard, lettuce not washed, tomato 2 small slices mushy texture, onions placed on over load ketchup on bottom bun, pickles with unknown why they were pierced with for holes ,as if to form a square connect the dots game (WHY) the holes, its always better to be asked from the short order cook , what would you like on the burger , reply a little ketchup, very little mustard ,lots of onions ,NOT WHAT THEY would assume each different paying customer ,with different desires of flavour one would find tasty, service was kind tho ,topping not of customers (A LITTLE OR A LOT) and burger dry not juicy ,,,...........Jumbo Burger been around more than 50 years ***** check it out off a Dundas Street north on Runnymede ,check it out
It's been a while since I last ate here but the burgers are great! I had the crispy chipotle chicken and it was tasty. The chicken is crunchy and the sauce is well balanced with the coleslaw. The workers were nice too. Will come back soon :)
Seems like there’s some mixed reviews for this place. The regular burger I got was cheaper then some other menu items including fries and a bottled drink. The burger is absolutely one of the best I’ve ever eaten and the fries tasted very unique, almost like plantain chips with their sweet and salty flavour. Not many places have my favourite drink so the black soda is a plus. The beyond meat option means that I can take my friend out to try this place too. Overall I really enjoyed the food and am looking forward to coming back here in the future.
Overpriced and the other reviews are right. The meat is weirdly dry. I use to eat here before and it was better idk what happened Its not worth the money the meat is dry
It should be a crime to serve these burgers to the public. The most dry burger I have ever eaten. It literally tasted boiled meat. Would never recommend this to anyone!
Over priced burger, I just ordered a burger and it costed me about 16 dollars. During lunch I made the decision to come to this burger place and I quickly regretted it cause they’d over charge. A positive is the burger tastes good and is a pretty good size! Edit: no tax brought the price down to 12.30 so that’s awesome!
