I wasn't pleased. Maybe I should have checked the time before I ordered late night as it seemed like old food. Portions were small compared to other cheaper options in the area. My cheese fries were missing cheese other than some peach coloured mealy goop which tasted like nothing. I was grossed out so I had to throw that part out. I'm not even sure it was cheese. The fries were old and cold. The burger meat and bun were good but the burger was the size of a slider or junior burger. Friday sauce was ok. Wish there was an option to take it out or add other things. The poutine gravy was bitter and it had those starch chunks. Curds were non-existent and the couple bits were melted to oblivion. See-through like eating watery lotion despite the fries being cold. I don't think these were curds. Can't all be winners so maybe I got a bad night. No utensils, no napkins. Not my thing when we got Burger Bros and piping hot fast food burgers.
My fiancé and I went to this burger place as I had heard good things. The food was fast, delicious and great quality! The restaurant itself is small but cute. We sat at the front on the two stools. The big front window offers a nice view of passing traffic and the lovely sky on the Danforth. The ladies working there were kind and food was cooked to order— and fast at that! We got two Friday Burgers and a Poutine to split. Both burgers were absolutely scrumptious, with the perfect amount of toppings, seasoning and their signature “Friday sauce”. The poutine had a delicious seasoned gravy with crinkled fries. Everything was delectable! This little burger joint is fantastic and I definitely recommend it. I gotta return to try their hand-spun milkshakes!
Ordered from Uber Eats and it came quickly and it was nice and fresh. Burger was quite good and fries were even better. We also got the banana pudding which was as pictured and pretty good! Was a little salty though. Overall, would definitely recommend
One of the best smash burgers in the city. It's my go-to in the east end. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is also good and not to spicy. Between the two, however, I think the burger is superior. The sides here are good, but the main event is the sandwiches. The desserts are excellent and unique.
Tried the Double Friday Burger and it blew me away. The two 3.5-ounce patties were cooked perfectly — juicy in the middle with crispy edges. The melted cheese, fresh toppings, and their signature Friday sauce tied everything together beautifully. The bun held up great and didn’t get soggy, which I really appreciated. The seasoned fries on the side were crispy and flavorful too — no shortcuts here. You can tell these guys care about quality. From the food to the service to the packaging, everything felt on point. Can’t wait to come back and try more. Highly recommend!
This was my first and last experience with this restaurant. I ordered a double Friday burger combo after reading the positive reviews on google. I spend $20 on it. The burger patties were unseasoned. There was absolutely NO SALT in it. There was absolutely NO SALT in fries too. They were completely tasteless and cold. Altogether the burger and the fries were completely tasteless. Such a huge disappointment. Why would you guys serve food without salt? Never in my life have I eaten such tasteless burger and fries. Complete waste of money!
burger was good but the place seems a little un kept food handling was not good two people working but using there phones it also had been inspected in July but did not pass I hope they can keep it clean and stay in the area I am and have been a customer since it opened but expect better for price, good luck
