Their website and the in-store register display a $12.99 South Street Burger combo, but when I ordered, I was charged over $17. When I asked about the price difference, the staff seemed unaware of the promotion and said the system charges whatever it shows. Very misleading advertising, poor customer service, and slow service overall.
Worst customer service. Staff was unprofessional and rude . Never coming back. There a loud fan unit in the ceiling which ruins the dine-in experience.
I think this is a great place to try, once. It has awesome toppings and great prices but the service is quite slow and the buns are a bit weird. The staff were all yelling at each other. The busiest time was around lunch time and the line got quite long. Would not recommend coming on a daily or weekly basis.
Came for a Build Your Own Burger (BYOB). Burger tasted great, love the variety of toppings. I got all types of various onions, and grilled pineapple (canned) but it was great still.
The make decent burgers and have halal beef option as well, with lots of toppings and sauce options. They offer gluten free and multigrain buns to. A little slow but wait is usually worth it. Onion rings,and sweet potato fries are mediocre compared to the burgers.
The burger and fries definitely hit the spot for me. I like the option to build your toppings with a good variety. The burger was made fresh and was not a greasy mess that fell apart. Portion size was good and was definitely satisfied.
I was craving fast food at midnight on a Saturday night, was driving to get pizza in the neighborhood when I came across South st burger.... And I'm glad i made a stop, place is clean, and organized, the staff comply with covid regulations by wearing masks and keeping the distance. I got the mushroom and swiss burger with friend and a drink, the price came about $16. The burger itself was very tasty, however the bun was a little bit too much greasy. I found the fries lacking in quantity and volume compared to competitive. Anuk, the gentelman behind the till was friendly and nice I would visit the place again. Just hope they add a bit more to their fries portions
