Lennies <3 My fav people and place to unwind in Cabbagetown when I need a breather. We chit chat, have the best time. Always the best experience and products. Couldn't rant about them positively more.

Lennie's has been my go to shop in Cabbagetown for organic ingredients, personal care essentials and supplements for the past 20 years. I find Carol and her staff to be friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about the products they sell. It's a compact shop that manages to pack an impressive range of goods in, and I rarely walk away empty handed when I come looking for something. Charming shops like this are the essence of Cabbagetown and an easy recommendation for anyone living in the neighbourhood.

I love this little shop — the products are always great quality, and the staff are genuinely helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. I’ve seen some comments about them not being the “bubbliest,” but honestly, not every warm interaction needs a big smile. They’re real, they care about their work, and they always take the time to help me find what I need. I always try to support them whenever I can. Small, local businesses like this are such a gem for the neighbourhood.

Went in today to grab a couple things, and I walked in with a smile on my face said hello and was not greeted in a friendly way or at all actually. The energy was very off and I did not enjoy my experience shopping there but from what I’ve read this is not an isolated incident the customer service needs to be better.

Enough time has passed, and I've seen a recent post that made me feel it was time to share my experience. I know it's been a many years but I need to express this. Back in 2012-2013, my girlfriend and I loved this place and spent a good amount of money there. We enjoyed our time talking to the staff and the owner. At one point, my girlfriend asked if she could be mentored, but she was turned down. As time went by, the owner pulled us aside and shared a heartfelt story about how much this place felt like home and how much she cared for it. However, she then questioned why we were going to the back of the store, which, by the way, had a lady working there and didn’t seem like a part of the store that was off-limits to customers. We weren’t alone there; we were talking to a very nice lady who worked in the back. Additionally, there were times when we found empty bottles and informed the staff, but we also noticed that every time we visited, the staff seemed to follow us around while pretending to work on the shelves. It made us feel like we were being treated like thieves. If we were stealing, as they claimed, they had cameras, and we asked about that. We were told nothing was captured of us stealing anything. Eventually, we decided never to return. After looking into reviews, we discovered that we weren't alone in being accused of stealing. From what we gathered, the owners seem to hold racist views, as indicated by a review from a lady who felt treated like a thief and i belive it to be true I'd like to say to the owner that I wish your store was closed permanently. When I saw a car crash into it, I thought that was karma and well-deserved.

There are people here who clearly know what they’re doing and give the right answers to the right questions. They’re genuine, warm, and truly helpful. You can tell they care about what they do. A great spot in Cabbagetown for quality supplements and honest advice.

This review is a reminder to myself never to go back to this store again. I've been there several times, and over the past 5 years, the customer service has worsened to the point it is comical. I paid for my purchase and tried to ask the lady at front if she had another product. While I was speaking mid sentence, she picked up her laptop and walked away. I honestly thought she went to look for the product, but nope, she just walked off. All I could think was what the heck just happened

I was the only with a laptop today that I use to place all the store orders on but I really had no time today it was all customer service. Was also the only one working so I should have recalled this incident. I’m sorry I have no recall of this from my hectic day. If you should come back please make yourself known to me and I would happily apologize and service you. Carol
