Working with LUX for a pre-move-in clean was the best choice I made in connection with our recent move (except perhaps the house itself!). We were about to move our stuff into our new house, and our cleaning plans got scuttled because of some renovation timing changes. I called LUX at 11:30pm on Monday night to attempt to book a move-in cleaning service for Wednesday. Al, one of the owners, personally returned my call within 10 hours, came and met me at the property, and gave me a fantastic price for 16 labour hours of two women who were fanatical about clean. Boundless energy and attention to detail. Things even a clean freak like me would not think to clean--they took apart and washed the glass on the light fixtures, scrubbed dirt off light switches and closet doors, de-cobwebbed the basement, washed out all drawers and closets, cleaned baseboards and washed the trim. They even scrubbed the TOPS of the cabinets in the kitchen--I didn't realize that they were covered with grease. One of the cleaners explained that she used her organic cleaner and then a razor to take it off. I would recommend LUX to anyone who needs or appreciates a seriously clean space, and I hope that we'll start working with them on a regular basis.
I used LUX to clean my house at Younge and Lawrence before putting it up for sale. From my first email to the team leaving my sparkling house, The LUX team was professional, courteous and efficient. The Spring Cleaning that Lux did for us was fantastic. Their team of four cleaners went through our house with cheerful professionalism and efficiency. There was nothing they wouldn't do, my fridge was cleaned thoroughly, my stove, glass, high dusting, tiles, shower doors, the list went on. My floors and furniture have never looked so lustrous! Because Lux provided four cleaners at once, an enormous amount of work got accomplished. Throughout the day, the team manager checked and rechecked on each of the cleaners, reviewing both progression and thoroughness on each job. Each of the cleaners were friendly, efficient and happy to do any sort of task I requested. What a lift to have so much accomplished in a day. My 'Spring Cleaning' is finished! I heartily recommend Lux and will definitely have them back again!
I just walked in to my sparking home after LUX spent the day here doing a deep clean. Wow! Every nook and cranny (and I mean EVERY one) is clean! The windows, window sills, the base boards, showers, sinks, cupboard doors, floors – the whole place – top to bottom, is shining. I have black counter tops in my kitchen and I could actually see my reflection in them, they were that shiny. The two ladies, Raquel and Amanda, were very professional, very efficient and very nice.
