Real Italian gelato. The consistency is very thick, the creamy texture is perfect. Especially the roasted hazelnut was exceptional. Definitely the best Italian ice cream shop in downtown Toronto. Most importantly, they allow you to taste just like in Italy, they don't say "We don't allow tasting" like some fake Italian ice cream shops.

Stopped in over the weekend and everything, from the warm welcome to the gorgeous display of flavours. The shop itself is bright and spotless, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Friendly staff were happy to offer samples and help me choose.

Très bonnes glaces artisanales certifiées et bon accueil Les glaces sont bon marché pas cher et délicieuses Very good ice cream and not expensive for all dishes You can stayed in the restaurant or you can go for takeout

Toronto loves to line up for ice cream. But at this spot, there was no line in sight. They serve sorbet and gelato rather than ice cream, and I couldn’t believe my luck walking right in after seeing the lines at other places along my walk. What I really couldn’t believe, though, was why there *wasn’t* a line stretching down the block. The gelato and sorbet were that good! I had the pistachio, creamy and nutty and just sweet enough. My friend went for a mix of lemon and blueberry sorbet — bright, tart, and perfectly refreshing. Each bite transported us to a little gelateria in Italy. Every flavour we tried was exceptional.

Very delicious gelato, I went with cookies and cream mixed with the espresso caramel biscoff. Very friendly staff and the place was very clean as well

Venerosa is, hands down, the best gelato in the city. Their flavours are unique and taste just like you are in Italy. Also, the staff and owners are extremely pleasant and kind. This is our family's go-to for a sweet snack after lunch or dinner. Highly, highly recommend.

Every week I try a different gelato in Toronto. I'm trying to figure out which one is truly worth coming back to again, from my perspective. This place doesn't have the tastiest gelato, but it's far from bad. I'd say it's definitely worth visiting and trying the flavors they have. My only recommendation is the service. Those who serve the customer can't remain silent. It gives the impression that we, the customers, are in the way instead of considering the fact that we're there to consume.
