I got the Jerk Chicken plate with plantains. Plantains were awesome but everything else was below average. The portion was extremely small with only 1 piece of chicken and a piece of chicken skin (The photo had 3 pieces of chicken) Overall it was also very salty. Wouldn’t recommend — lots of better options at Union
I ordered a Jerk Pork Sandwich from Roywoods here. The server Emmerence Mwewa demonstrated outstandibg customer service! I really appreciate how she went described what the sandwich was like when I asked about it. She knew the exact ingredients in it! The sandwich was scrumptious! Pulled pork was tasty with the combination of the sauces, vegetables and the pulled pork itself! The scrumptious pulled pork sandwich, splendid service by Emmerance, and attractive atmosphere made enjoying this meal at Union station, a meal to remember!
i used love this place, over the time this place was open the quality and quantity has lessened and price has increased. i do still really like the food but i don't think ill be coming back
The food was overpriced for what I got, and the portions were small. They forgot my plantain, and when I asked for it, they gave it to me cold. The overall taste was just okay — nothing really stood out or would make me want to order again. I’ve eaten here before and it used to taste much better, so I’m not sure what happened this time.
The portion sizes are terrible. This is a large plate. The container is half empty and has the same amount of food as a small. You pay 5 extra dollars for literally the exact same amount of food. Don't buy a large size anymore they will purposely put less food in it. At least they used to add more rice to large. Now they're identical.
Overall score is good. However, the staff seem to be very disorganized and it causes many problems. They should rethink their serving line since they have a kiosk to self order, as well as a cashier. This causes confusion as to whose order is whose. A solution would be to give receipts numbers and call the number when the order is ready. So the reason for 3 stars is due to staff and process.
Wish had taken a photo before starting to dig in. My lunch box was full w 3 palm size pieces of boneless spicy, tasty full flavoured jerk chicken breast. Sauce was great. Plenty of seats in food court as well.
