The evening special was insanely delicious, especially considering the $11 price tag. Full piece of jerk chicken (drum and thigh), rice, coleslaw, and a full corn on the cob. INSANE! Also tried the beef patty with drink combo for $5. Big plus that everything here is halal. The guys were so nice they gave my friends and I a full cup of lentil soup on the house to try out. Will definitely come here again, highly recommend.
I had the pleasure of having Wat ah Jerk cater my daughter’s baby shower, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the very first interaction, Hanin was an absolute dream to work with; professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect. She answered all my questions promptly and made the planning process so smooth. The delivery was right on time, the food arrived hot, and every dish was absolutely delicious. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the flavors! Wat ah Jerk truly went above and beyond to make the day special, and I’m so grateful for their outstanding service and incredible food. Highly recommend!
I got the Jerk Chicken and the Oxtail. Truthfully, the food was good but it wasn't Jamaican food. The Jamaican flavor is completely missing. It did taste good and the meat was tender but it wasn't Caribbean food. It tasted more middle eastern to me than anything.
10/10 SERVICE!!!!!! Ali and Kunga really made my lunch a good one today, I cannot appreciate them enough for helping me make decisions on what delicious food to eat. If you’re ever eating in the path under the Adelaide centre, this is the place!!!!
Ordered off of Uber eats because there was a buy one, get one free promo. The jerk chicken I ordered was only filled half way in each containing, which was basically equivalent to just one regular order for 17 dollars. I asked for sauce on top but did not receive it, and the rice was undercooked. The plantain was burnt, and dry on the inside. I ordered a beef patty however, I was given a different type of patty (I believe chicken). The total of my order was around 50 dollars, without including the promo cost, and 30 dollars afterwards. Definitely not worth it. I submitted photos to Uber, and only received 20% my next order unfortunately. I do not have any photos as I forgot to save them to my actual camera roll.
Hadis and Ishane were really nice I asked for a little more and they actually gave me a whole lot more… food was really good too.. loved the service and experience.
Editing my review from last year! This place has gone down hill. It doesn’t seem it’s the same owner anymore. Food is not to par anymore, very slow service, and stingy portion for the price! What happened? New owner? New chef? The patty gave me stomachache an hour after.
