I discovered this place one night because I was craving a juice. Since that day I've gone back several times, each time trying a new blend. You can see that the juices are natural and don't contain additional sugars. Amazing drinks for days when you go on a walk. Mai is the lady that is always present and she always does a great job. Haven't tried their food yet, but you better know that if their food is anything like their juices, it's safe to say the food is delicious. Highly recommended.
Ordered a strawberry, mango, orange smoothie and a fresh pressed sugar cane juice. We also tried a chicken bahn mi and when I tell you… so fresh and delicious! Bread was soft and fluffy as if it was baked that same day. Our drinks were made to order, so fresh and refreshing. But the best part was the ladies who were working. They were the sweetest ladies ever and really gave that “auntie” vibe. Felt like I was visiting family. A must try for sure.
The sweetest people and a fantastic and affordable bahn mi ($8, cash only). Search your soul and ask yourself why you'd want to get sandwiches anywhere else on Bloor.
A very strange experience, but I suppose it's a good value given the price. $8 for pate banh mi or pork, and $7 for tofu or egg. Cash only too. You get what you paid for. Pictured is the pork one, which I waited about 15 mins for with no one else in line/ordered.
My partner and I each tried a different juice. I got the house special, while she got the pink angel. Both were really good, and had a unique blend of ingredients and flavours. However, we found $9 to be a bit on the expensive side for a juice, even given the generous quantity. Some of their other items, like the smoothies and banh mi seem like better value, so we'll probably return to give those a try since the juice was so good. It is worth noting that you need cash to pay here, and while they have an ATM inside, it was not working while we were there, so we had to go elsewhere to get cash.
I haven't been here in ages as I haven't been in the neighborhood due to COVID and working from home, but let me review them again! Amazing smoothies, AMAZING Vegan soup, AMAZING BANH MI's (Both Vegan and Otherwise), and amazing fruit plates. I have missed this place so and it's just as amazing as I remembered it. Order anything and you will not be dissapointed, and the prices are amazing. (I ordered two soups, two smoothies, two banh Mi's, a fruit platter, and a side of rice for like $40 bucks!)
