Totally unprofessional. Avoid the lawyer Anton Katz. I reached out to retain him on a commercial lease review and all he said in an email reply was: I think I'm going to pass. No explanation or anything else. Very strange for a lawyer to respond like that to anyone, especially someone willing to pay for his time... UPDATE: Anton reached out to me asking that I please remove this review as it detracted from his good reviews. However, it is funny that he is now asking me for a favour when in his response he again failed to offer us any assistance, and failed to provide a genuine apology and to assume any accountability whatsoever. He totally missed the point. He only seems to care about himself. Avoid... Additional update: As you can see from Anton's response below he takes no accountability. So is Anton saying he doesn't assist with commercial lease reviews? His website says otherwise. Anton Katz took a simple case, charged over $20,000 on a $50,000 case while he was sick he could not operate it properly, he forced us to continue his job with another lawyer Neil Kotnala, poor communication excessive costs took no responsibility what so ever in this matter, while we are in a pandemic shows no remorse as I was trying hard to get to the bottom of what he was hired for. We are in the process to take both these supposedly professionals to justice for not informing his ability as the second lawyer Neil Kotnala admits that and Anton Katz did not do his job right. Luckily we have documents and evidence. I will keep you up-to-date, as Anton Katz respond, after I paid thousands of dollars we were sympathetic, you gave us only one choice and your choice for 6 months he did not do anything instead he is creating anxiety and stress. Anton Katz as I respected you all the time and I sympathies with you, you pushed me to this Neil guy and you are not taking responsibility and not doing anything about it, you are not even sending me a response on my email neither to my registered mail, you left me no choice to write this review and I ask you that the lawyer that you recommended puts himself and you in a very uncertain situation. Although this case could have been finished and done, both of you choose to ignore the situation and you are letting it to escalate further more issues. I ask you to get in touch with Neil Kotnala and ask him updates as his is saying you did not do a good job on the case. I will send you a full transcript copy so you can understand it yourself and I will send you a transcript your conversation and my conversation for you to remember what I said and what I did and why I am in this situation and I told you not to disclose my conversation with you with Neil Kotnala and now he is acting up. A complaint has already been submit to the Law Society about both of you.
