A bunch of smug people sell expired chocolates that have outdated almond inside, and if you ask for a sample to test, where other retailers want you to try their goods, they ask you to buy first and try later. If you cannot treat people well, not in a customer prospective, isolate yourself from people and be rude with your kinds.
Love coming here everytime I go to St Lawrence. Pros: - prices are often better than bulk barn, with more variety! - great range of products. As someone who cooks alot: if I can't find it elsewhere - here is the place to go. I can find lentils that are sometimes hard to find, different types of flours, great pasta options, olive oil etc. Quality has not disappointed. This week I bought semolina flour to make pasta from them, along with pinenuts for pesto. - staff are very helpful and friendly without being pushy. Seems like it's a family business and they care alot about their products. Once someone even shared some tea he made just with me & my partner as we we're cashing out. Lovely folks! Cons: None! Wish I lived a bit closer so I could shop more often- but that's a me problem haha.

Smashing IT! A great spot in the downtown core of Toronto nestled in historic St. Lawrence Market. This is the place where I get all of my NUTS from. From walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds, pistachios, cashews, and brazilin nuts. You've got them raw, you got them toasted, and you also have them spiced up. Great selection of dried fruits and so many more items. Love the selection. Great customer service as well, and the prices are so amazing. Domino Foods is 100% better than your big grocery chain outlet by far.
Great range of products, especially dried fruit, spices, and chocolates. I like the variety of European treats like the Italian Baci chocolates! The Medjool dates are massive, soft and perfect!
If they had an app to help us find things, that would be helpful, but they don't so I need to ask where things are. The problem is both the ladies I've asked for help who work there seem extremely displeased to be asked anything at all. No reason to be hostile to customers asking legitimate questions.
Generally, a good place for baking goods, beans, rice, oils, etc. Staff can be somewhat abrupt at times, acting like it's a bother to answer questions.
