We are so lucky to have leslieville Meat Market in our neighbourhood; their quality of service and food are incredible. I highly recommend this place. We have been working with them for our meat delivery at home and it’s been an amazing experience. Everything comes well packed, labeled and arrives quickly which makes for an easy ordering process. They are mine number one butcher.
I highly recommend the tasty chicken soup with vegetables! It’s just perfect in the cold months when you need some real food that nourishes your body. The owner and staff are very friendly and lovely to chat with. So glad they are in our neighbourhood!
terrible. poor quality of meat. they left all the hard fat, and silver skin on a piece of beef brisket. at other butchers the brisket was trimmed and ready to go onto the bbq. Go to another butcher!
If you are looking for the best in grassfed beef or amazing hand made sausages, look no further. I have been going here religiously for years now, always happy to get meat so nutritious that it makes me feel like superman. Whether summer BBQ, or Winter stew, there is only one butcher I trust to deliver on the quality I have come to expect, time and time again.
I want to like and support this local butcher shop, but every time I give them another chance, they disappoint me. I’ve experienced consistently bad customer service across multiple visits over the years. Staff are misinformed or uneducated about products. For example, misquoting ingredients or charging the wrong price at checkout: -I asked them to confirm whether the chicken sandwich had pork in it (the sign said chicken and bacon, but bacon was crossed out) and was told no, only to go home and find pork sausage inside. This type of error can have potentially serious ramifications when it comes to allergies, but is still not right in any circumstance. -They also tried to charge me more than the menu price, claimed that that was the price “with tax” (this was false as it was still higher than it should be) even when I said it was wrong, and then had to be told again that it was wrong (I showed them the math) before they begrudgingly fixed it. I’ve also felt uncomfortable with some of the male staff there as well who have given leering glances and smirks. Lastly, selection is often woefully limited in variety and quantity, which makes it difficult for truly rely on this place. Only having ~10 chicken wings in stock or ~3 sausages available, and not simply at the very end of day/close of business, is wild!
I’ve been going to the Leslieville Meat Market for a couple years now. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. Also their prices are unbeatable! All the meats you would want for an epic BBQ meal plus more. If there’s something you want and they don’t have it out chances are they can make some magic happen ☺️
I took the chicken kabab and taste it today its 1000 times better than other grocerries store. Freerun chicken and grassfed beef do have visit this store and tatse the meat
