I was served by Tava, she was very nice and made my family feel very welcome. I have never recieved such good service in Union Station, thank you Tava!
Delicious egyptian beef shawerma, as delicious and juicy as the authentic cairo shawerma sandwiches I grew up loving in Cairo. It is very truthful to the original taste of the Egyptian version of the shawerma sandwich.
Visited after being recommended by friends The food was delicious Beef and grilled chicken was over by the time we reached in the evening- 7 pm so guess it is popular The fried chicken sandwich was tasty Had ordered 2 vegetarian dishes The fallacy sandwich was tasty Arnabeet (califlour sandwich was also good The seasoning they put on the French fries was interesting Overall my first experience with Egyptian food was good I should thanks to Tuts The team is friendly and helps you choose the right dishes Would definitely visit again You must visit and try Enjoy Cheers
Rachelle & Alberto was the best! They are so respectful and smiley, & very fast with the service!! The foods were amazingly good and the way Rachelle prepared so quick just surprised me. I highly recommend this place, such an easy pick up if you’re starving. Props to those two !
Food was amazing. The fried shrimp was so good and very similar to the egyptian original sandwich, Alberto and Rachel were really nice and helpful. 10/10 recommend.
I had an amazing experience at Tuts! The food was absolutely delicious — especially the grilled chicken, which was juicy and full of flavor. I also tried the falafel, and it was equally tasty. The staff were polite, and the service was quick and friendly. A special shoutout to Ronit for recommending their sandwiches — they were amazing! I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend this place!
I'm making an effort to try every new thing in the Union food hall. Today's lunch: Tut's. I got the two-sandwich combo. It came with a choice of two sandwiches and fries. I tried the beef sausage and the falafel. Falafel: there was nothing exciting about this sandwich. It tasted fresh, sure, but the falafel itself had very boring texture and tasted bland. The other toppings didn't bring much more to the sandwich. Beef sausage: the sausage itself was nice, smooth texture and the flavour was good. What else was there in that sandwich? Not sure. A sauce that was similar to a very light mustard. Again, not interesting. Fries: to their credit, the fries were extremely hot, fresh and crispy. Good spice mix, but they needed a tiny bit more salt. The sandwiches and fries are served in an open cardboard box. Like a few of the places in this food hall, Tut's goes for "cute" presentation. I suspect I am paying for this cuteness at the cost of very tiny sandwiches. If you got two of the beef sausage sandwiches, you would probably have the equivalent amount of protein content as a single Schneider's hotdog. Given Tut's charges $12.99 for the two-sandwich combo and $17.99 for the three-sandwich, we're talking around $5 per sandwich. Overall, it's 2 stars. The food is fresh but the flavours are bland and it is expensive for what it is. I won't go back.
