I called Cargo Cabbie to move a couch from one area of the house to another. Access was very tight with millimetres to spare and I was afraid it couldn't be done. However, John J and Josh did an incredible job of carefully getting the couch downstairs with quiet teamwork. They arrived early--telling us first--and were incredibly polite and respectful of our belongings, moving everything back as it was. I should also note that they hurried to get this done within the first hour to minimize overtime charges. Highly recommend Cargo Cabbie!!
Cargo Cabbie is great! I have moved four times in the last year while I waited for renovations to be done on my house. I used other moving companies for the first three moves and Cargo Cabbie for the last move. This company is professional, responsive, courteous and friendly. They didn't damage any of my furniture not something that I can say for the others and had everything organized for move day. I wished I'd used them in the first place. If I need to move again this company will be my first go to choice. Thanks Cargo Cabbie!
We used Cargo Cabbie for the second time. This time we used their packing service as well. I highly recommend it. The crew showed up the day before the move and packed everything. They brought the supplies with them and even prepared the furniture to be moved the next day. Made all the difference come move day. Will definitely use them again.

I was moving from my small bachelor apartment, Cargo Cabbie was a local business and I wanted to support that. The movers showed up on time, were VERY respectful of my belongings, hard working gents, polite and chill and were honestly the best movers I've ever hired. The ability to rent the moving containers and purchase other supplies while booking my move made life a little easier. The trucks are the cleanest around. The issue: my quote. Very in-depth process, lots of questions and numbers delivered on my part. They gave me a quote and it seemed a little higher than I was used to paying but their company seemed little nicer than I was used to hiring so I didn't mind. They told me over the phone the quote might seem high, but not to worry because they're just being safe and it probably wouldn't hit that price. I wasn't moving appliances or even a single bed. Come moving day the price ended up being DOUBLE the quoted price (roughly 1200 vs 600). The next week I called to complain about it, they said they would look into it. They responded saying that I was moving more items than originally thought, and that my hallway was longer than expected. I had sent them photographs of everything being moved, and they knew the number of totes being moved because I had rented said totes FROM THEM! Eventually they offered me $100 off my next move. Pretty sure I'll just hire a different company and save a lot more than $100. Had the movers not been such good guys I'd have left a 1 start review.If you're looking for the best movers in the city and price is no concern? Cargo Cabbie all the way. Is money at all a concern? Get a quote, just make sure you double it.
