Well, reviews about the man are very true. He constantly rolls eyes, was not adjusting even when the printer threw out the wrong ink and made paper blackened. Very impatient, kinda wasted my time. He told me to leave when I asked him if can fix the printer as it did not print the colours properly and everything was just dark. Avoid the shop at all costs and especially the old man Went to staples. Got everything done under 10 minutes
Fast, professional, reasonably priced, and Kelly really cared about the quality of the photos and the dimensions for different visa requirements. And at half the price of shoppers, with this hidden gem around, there’s no need to go anywhere else for photos
I had a great experience here for my passport photo. They have a legit photo set up and Kelly ensured I was happy with my photo before I left. It was much cheaper than shoppers or other places in the area and no issues with my photo being rejected. I would highly recommend
I worked in the area for over a decade and always came here for passport photos, shoe and belt repairs, and shoe shines. You truly can’t beat the price! Best in the city! The quality of work is top-tier, the service is excellent, and they’re incredibly quick. I’m always busy and on the go, so I really appreciate how efficiently they get things done. It’s been the same couple running it all these years, and in more than 10 years of coming here, I’ve never left disappointed.. I don’t work in the area anymore, but whenever I’m downtown and need a passport photo or a shoe polish, this is still my go-to shop. Highly recommend!
Great experience! The Owner was so well prepared and friendly, gave straightforward direction so the photo turned out nicely, showed me the photos to choose from (and suggested the best one), and had me out of there within 5 minutes. What a wonderful service!
if you are someone who is looking for patience and good customer service, DO NOT give this store business UNLESS it is the woman helping you, if it is the man, unfortunately the other poor reviews are true, he has a poor attitude, has no patience and is passive aggressive. I came here to make sure my photos were taken correctly, because my last ones were not done right by another photo service, so i wanted to make sure this one would work with me to give me the reassurance that they knew what they were doing. All my attempts to communicate that were shutdown and dismissed by the man I was unfortunate enough to interact with. Even after I paid, and I made sure to double check if I had the extra information i needed for my type of photo, he unironically ROLLED HIS EYES AND SIGHED in the middle of me speaking and even said 'do you want me to read it to you?!' in a passive aggressive tone. No I do not want that, I want you to listen and be professional to your customer who is giving you business. Sad part was the fact that I am an asian customer who went in thinking 'Oh great, the storekeeper is asian, we could maybe connect a bit over that and it'll be friendly.' Boy was I wrong. While he did explain a bit after having it dragged out of him and he did do the basic job service, I cannot recommend anything else from this god forsaken miserable man. If you have nothing nice to say, dont say it. From the other reviews, it seems like the lady there is lovely, if you see the man only, STAY AWAY. This business does not deserve him tarnishing their reputation.
After going to innumerable places including Walmart ( refused that they don’t do infant picture) and Shoppers (tried their best) and being refused from all that they don’t do infant/ new born pictures - I was recommended about this shop while standing in queue at the passport office by an applicant. The owner was professional and had the gear needed for an infant passport picture like white mitts to hold the baby so that they appear white in background. Finally after many rejected passport pictures their’s was the one that was approved. Very much thankful.
