The owners before these guys use to make the best pizza in toronto hands down... the new owners now make ok pizza not as good as it use to be.... prices went up... attitide went up....quality went down and they dont have my favorite barqs root beer anymore:(.... they had pre-made pizza from yesterday they were serving and ran out of deluxe regularly which im guessing is the best pizza they got... its my favorite whenever I go here I always have a deluxe slice... the workers are pretty rude aswell..... I had to get another pepperoni slice after I finished a Hawaiian slice... slices were big but they use to be bigger and before 1 slice use to do it for me... but it is thin and flat so u can eat 2 no problem.
This has been my go-to pizza place for quite a long time and for the longest time they were fantastic. recently I'm not sure what has changed but the staff are no longer nice. they're also extremely unprepared all the time. went in tonight. zero slices available other than two very old cheese slices. waited 15 minutes for another pizza to come out so I could get at least two okay slices and was kind of met with just attitude from all the staff members. also your delivery driver was very unsafe tonight going over the sidewalk and curb without regard for other people's safety. when he was backing up he nearly hit three people. Like I really want to love this place and I had in the past but the last couple visits here have been very frustrating and definitely leave a bad taste in my mouth.
For me it the closest pizza spot. I tried others and even reached out on kijiji as an apprentice at 2 family owned pizza establishments among others. First 2 4 1 was like the legendary YUM YUM PIZZA. Both in the bloor west who no longer exist. Yum yum had a party size round extra large deluxe 5 topping pizza for 9.99 in 1982-1985. They went on holidays and never returned. The 2 4 1 near the same area closer to runnymede had a great deal for 2 xl pizzas for 14 plus inflation. Now my son is that age and he doesn't really care if i spend twice as much on more pizza.... Because an extra large pickup including latest price increase is still the best thrift in town. 2 xl with 2 toppings is a better deal and thats what i aim for. When you pay before they make as your tipping the jar suggest any specialities so they can just included without extra charge. I made a mistake the very first time i went to my only go to for pizza in 2025. My everything called the 2 4 1 number. She asked for a medium but should have ordered the pick up special as we were in the park 1 minute away. When we arrived we did the math and found out it was like 3 dollars more than the sign says on the window. I round up the tax like my nickels and inflation. The conflict that i caused with others who are loyal to mister R i would also stand up in defence to one year later. The issue is their call centre but i took it out on them. My son who was present at the time was for the first time scared and in many ways. For me for others and the shame. I only came back to apologize and find out the prices were going up weeks later since i wrote hq about my experience. What timing i was willing to boycott and forget about it. Just like many i would rate poorly but focus on the most positive. My son always requested 2 4 1 but i always wanted the best for my son and tried others first My son's schools both had pizza catered through the direct line to this store. 2nd best to Blaze for quality but i am paying 3 times more for all you can eat. Pizza delight on carlton when the rollerskating. The Terrace friday saturday sunday go late 80s closed down for good. 10 bucks for all you can eat and 3 hour skate. Flash forward to today and 30 plus is all you can eat for a family of 3 and the healing nurture of feeding the stomach and mind. I am loyal to all i have 5 star ratings. And those that i had a bad experience with i will rate as a last resort for my bucket list. Some suggestion like extra whatever when you tip or even a large event like a classroom or office. After about 20 visits for me habitual tipping is noticed and its music to the ears. If you call the direct line 15 min later you can pickup. Its that easy and the money goes to many hands. Order half and half if its a snack for many. These guys go above and beyond and so personable. Very consistent and efficient. The bakers make the dough perfect and sliced to the edge but not through to keep the pizza from sliding. Lets make the pickup specials the baseline for what you can spend. Most are happy with two slices and a drink. The pizza is almost as fresh. Pizza does have more flavour 5 to 20 min after baked. Splash of olive oil on the crust or dipping sauce. Make your own but good luck making a pizza for such a low cost. Keep everyone smiling while the good times are still here. Check the wall for events and the windows for the promotions. I met a friend who i should have known sooner and i feel more than obligated to mention i am not getting paid to write this lengthy review. Its for the love of everything my son and those around me. Enjoy
$5.75 for 2 slices and a pop. But keep in mind the slices are small. I would say 2 slices here are equal to 1 slice at fresco. But still its a good deal.
I would avoid this place at all costs. The pizza was undercooked and had no taste. You are better off just not eating pizza if this is your only option
This is twice now that I have placed an Uber Eats order at this restaurant and twice now that it is cancelled by the restaurant. If you do not deliver please remove yourself from the app. Thanks.
Best deals on slices and the gentlemen running this place are exemplary, as long as I'm living in the neighborhood I'll be coming here. been coming here for more than 13 years so far their Hawaiian and Veggie slices are the best any time of day. great walk in specials and their delivery guys are usually pretty good.
