Got ignored today standing at the counter waiting to get a slice for 5 minutes. Was almost late for work as a result. Saw the European dude who works morning shifts wipe his nose with hand and then onto his apron. Will never ever ever ever go back here again. Such a disappointment for Chinatown and the great customer service offered elsewhere. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!
Ordered through these guys from Uber eats. Typically the pizza is great and I'm sure it is from here too, but ordering was a terrible experience. I ordered at 7pm, the food finally showed up at 930. It was stone cold, the box looked all banged up and it was the wrong pizza and wrong size (my large pepperoni pictured here). Typically pizza nova also seals their pizza with stickers and the receipt is sticking out. The stickers were broken and no receipt. This was obviously not my order. Called the store and they connected me to the driver. He said to send my banking information so I could get my money back. Called the store back and the just took the phone off the hook and left it. Called Uber and they told me to call the store. I love pizza, I love pizza nova, but if you've read this far you can tell that I'm not pleased with this experience. Do yourself a favor and do not order from this pizza nova location. Being connected to the driver who asked for my banking information was especially bizarre and off putting. Being delivered an opened, wrong sized pizza 2.5 hours after the fact was disappointing. Uber eats refusing to refund me was the icing on the cake. Pray for the poor souls who get delivery from this location.
Probably the WORST PIZZA in TO!. Service was terrible. 1.5 hours, for a medium pizza. The comedic part was that the pizza was late and the order was wrong.
dont go here. staff are untrained, incredibly rude and unprofessional. got food poisoning and was overcharged. when i questioned the cashier she kept saying "thats the price with tax"
Got a slice to eat in store so waited around while I ate. The staff were very unprofessional and the eating area was untidy. They forgot about another customer's Slice and it burnt. Instead of apologizing, they laughed and gave it to the customer anyways.
Worst pizza and bad service. I used to be a regular customer. Have not been there in awhile. I bought a large pepperoni pizza. The pizza had almost zero cheese or sauce. It was basically crust with pepperoni. What happened to this location? Never again. It was the 267 College Street location.
This is not the first thin-crust claim of traditional (aka Neapolitan/Italian) pizza to get it wrong, but it has to be the worst. The crust is great. But the sauce! By god, where to begin. I KNOW Neapolitan pizza. I've enjoyed it in Florence and Venice. But what is this bright red stuff all over my delivery? It tastes like…tomato paste. Pure, unadulterated tomato paste. Yuck! Where’s the basil? The oregano? I even ordered up double sauce because the 2nd mistake, and Pizza Nova is far from alone in making it, is the scant spread across the dough. I saved the evening by cooking my own concoction of olive oil and basil and oregano and roasted garlic, and I spread it all over that sad pizza pie. Yum. The recipe is theirs. For free.
