Mike @ Waterguard saved us a huge headache and thousands of dollars of unnecessary work. Two other quotes thought we needed to dig up a section of our basement and replace pipes - both without not quite knowing what was going on. Mike figured out it was a damaged cap to cleanout pipe on the driveway. We got the sewage pipe cleaned out and when it was inspected with a camera, there was no damage at all! We are so relieved and grateful.
My water line was old, lead and just 1/2” (very poor flow ) so I decided to replace it with cooper 3/4”, but I did not want to ruin my front lawn and also do not spend a fortune. After research I hired Water Guard, which met both criteria. They use trench less (Torpedo) method. Just wanted to share my recent experience with Mike and his team in upgrading our water service from 5/8 to 1" per Brampton legalization guidelines. After extensive research on who we should hire as the contractor with this job we decided to go with Mike and his team since they are one of the few contractors that the City of Brampton know and trust. I cannot express in words the satisfaction that we have in the level of professionalism and expertise that his team has in this field. From the start of the process with calling the locates for my property into the water service being upgraded Mike ensured that as homeowners we did not need to worry about anything with the whole procedure as he looked after it from start to finish. He made sure that there is little to no damage to my property while they are doing the upgrade, they even made sure that the whole area is tidied up before they left. Mike and his team's main focus is not just to get the job done but to ensure there is little to no disturbance for the homeowner when they are doing their work. Lastly, Mike also suggested us to connect the water service pipe directly to our water tank which can potentially save us $$$ in terms of upgrading the rest of the water piping in my basement. Overall, I would highly recommend Mike and his team. If I can give more than 5 stars I will, their work is exemplary and you would not be disappointed.
Workers were really nice and fast at their job, however few days later I got cracking all over. Called few times and was promised to get called back and resolve such issue. Been 2 weeks no response :/
Mike and his crew have done excellent work! Fast and professional service. Mike walked me through the job, explained everything, provided quote same day with very competitive price. Showed good knowledge of plumbing installations in our old neighborhood, had a proactive approach and presented various options. They replaced our ½” lead water supply pipe with ¾” copper, removed old p-trap and installed backwater valve on the main drain in the same day, done the good clean up afterwards. I am very happy with the job and would not hesitate to hire them again.
