I am a resident at 50 Cordova Avenue. This afternoon, I arrived at the building pool at 2:00 p.m., in line with the open hours displayed on the screen outside the amenity area. While using the pool, I was approached by the swimming instructor, who informed me that the times shown on the screen were incorrect. When I attempted to have a respectful conversation to clarify the situation and, if necessary, prepare to leave, the instructor raised his voice and began yelling at me. He stated that I “did not follow his instructions the first time.” At no point did I refuse to leave or give the impression that I would not comply. During this exchange, the instructor told me to “shut up” and used his physical presence (he is approximately 6’ tall) in an intimidating manner, which I found aggressive and unacceptable. Such volatile behavior is not appropriate in any setting, especially toward residents. Unfortunately, when I reported the incident, the security personnel at the front desk were unsure of the proper protocol.

Lived here for 2 years, moved away to be closer to work. Large spacious units, well-maintained property, tons of on-site amenities and conveniently walkable to transit. Management was always responsive and the maintenance team was excellent. Would move back in in a heartbeat.

Consider living elsewhere because the sheer number of problems with this building and management are endless. Little to no response on maintenance work, elevators are always down, the mgmt doesn't reply to messages for days, bedbugs, roaches, you name it. I would give them 0 stars. The management will make sure your life is difficult specially the superintendent, Jetta.

They took took three years to replace a balcony in which the project went on for several months while we were inconvenienced and subject to constant construction noise (hammering and drilling) During the same time period a completely new hi rise was built from start to finish across the street before one side of our balconies was complete. After the balcony was complete they decided to change all screen doors further the noise and construction. Once this was complete for some reason they are going from apartment to apartment drilling or fixing things. there is no sense of peace and quiet on a given day without construction noise. If you like peace and quiet or work nights or from home this is not the place for you. The crazy thing is they have a flawed heating unit that requires repair every six months due to moisture (even if you do not turn it on) it is so bad is strips the paint and drywall and leaves chunks on your floor and holes in the wall.they have five elevators one consistently out of service . I have waited ten minutes or longer for a packed elevator. The garbage site is a mess... people may as well just throw the trash out there window or off the balcony and aim for the bin below. You may see rats almost as big as cats if dispose of your garbage at night. The drilling in neighboring apartments is still being heard even as i post.Due to noise and other things you can easily have a nervous break down if your plan is to stay long term .

Hi, I’m moved on April 1, 2022…to in the second floor unit….the view from my windows and balcony is completely insane to my mind, because I must to look every single day at front of my balcony only garbage. When the person showed me the apartment, told me all that garbage will be removed before I’m moving in. That never happened, I been sending letters, I asked by the portal page, I spoke with two different people and nothing happens. On Monday 8 of may I spoke with the central office, telling me that will be resolved immediately, but never happens either. The funny part is, here is we leave a box in the chute space, without previous warning they charge more that $60,…. And they say we have rules, my question is what happens with ours rights, specially when we are paying our rent on time, they make any discount for us for the false promises to the tenants? The tenants deserve respect too… so my modest opinion is, before to move to this place, is better to talk with others tenants, because the hallways in some occasion i must to vacuum myself because rarely those carpet are vacuuming.

Security will bang on your door 1am in the morning, if you have enough money run as fast away from these scumbags as possible they are an exact representation of what “service to the lower classes” look like

The worst experience in my life. The building is awful. Once a week there is no hot water. Not even always they gave a 24 hours notice. The superviser is so rude. Would never choose or recommend this building to someone.

Your concern will be addressed in the tenant portal, as it is the appropriate channel for discussion with residents.

We are sorry to hear of your experience. As with many aging buildings we are undergoing many upgrades which can cause shutdowns, in these cases notice is provided. However, sometimes there are emergencies, which are beyond our control in which we cannot provide notice. Unfortunately, with aging infrastructure, there are sometimes issues which are beyond our control.
