I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. It was recommended by a friend and will definitely return. The food is amazing, the facility is clean and service was fast. I had some time to kill because I was heading to a Raptors game and had to wait for the gates to open and the person serving me was willing to talk to pass the time. Really nice guy and helped make the evening pleasantly memorable. If you are looking for great food and a friendly atmosphere try this place!
What a memorable meal we had at this restaurant before the Raptors game. We were thoroughly impressed by the incredibly friendly staff. To top it off, the chicken pita was both flavorful and tasty. This is a must-visit spot in the city.
I wouldn't give this restaurant 5 stars. I think it deserves 3.5 at the most. The food is okay, the salad tastes fresh but the dressing lacks acidity/flavour. I ordered a Roasted Chicken platter; it was decent, but nothing that'll blow u out the water. The chicken was also suspiciously pink ---- see pictures. The interior however is clean and fairly cozy.
Pita was flavourful and good amount of food for the price. Chicken and veggies were fresh. Place is very barebones but they serve food and incredibly fast. 4 stars because the value is so good, probably less expensive than an A&W or even McDonalds and you get a larger portion that tastes better. Not sure about nutritional value, but I imagine it’s better too.
DELICIOUSLY Fresh Food & AMAZING Customer Service!!! The tall gentleman that works behind the counter speaking multiple languages (I assume is the owner) was Extremely Friendly, Efficient and has Superb Customer Service. Great Guy. We were walking by before our theatre show looking for a quick bite to eat. I'm really glad we stopped and tried this Greek Place out. We almost missed it as it has quite an interesting entrance. Located right on Queen St and if you walk fast enough keeping up w/ DT T.O foot pace, you just might miss it. Food was deliciously made fresh, flavourful and had a generous quantity of food, Smelled Amazing. Tzatziki sauce was perfect texture and tasted SOOOOOO Good! We ordered 1 Chicken Souvlaki Dinner w/ rice, potatoes and salad. The other meal was a Chicken Schwarma on a perfectly soft pita. (He advised me they make theirs is a little different and they add some fries inside as well) OMG AMAZING. Next time we brave to be back DT we're definitely coming back here. Side Note: There are always going to be a few Cuckoo bird ppl out there as one would expect DT, so to some of these 'reviews' I'd say is: You get what you give. Period. Ppl want to act like A$$-hats and assume there are no repercussions for their behaviour. We were only there for 35 minutes and witnessed 1-2 incidents, imagine what happens all day. Hopefully those spiteful reviews won't deter you from trying out this Awesome Greek Restaurant. It's definitely worth a try. It's more of a quick bite to eat, grab and go than an ambiance experience. Plenty of room w/ tables to sit down and eat. Clean and open concept feeling. Great bang for your buck. In store the prices are more than reasonable. I saw a few Jays fans rush in and out as it seemed like they were regulars, the gentleman/owner knew most of them. It was heartwarming and a great pre-covid "we're all normal" feeling. It was nice to see. There were young families too and DT business ppl enjoying good fresh yummy food. Thank you Aristos Souvlaki & Gyros for your Delicious food, for what you do and respectfully asserting yourself when needed. Keep up the Great work! Cheers.
One of the worst experience ever with the service. The girl working there was very rude and treating us as if we were getting food for free. Such a bad customer service.
***** Beware***** There’s a blatant rip-off between prices when it comes to what’s on the in-person menu at the store vs what’s on UberEats. For example, the chicken souvlaki dinner in person is $12.45 and $19.95 for large. The price on UberEats for the same item is $19.50 for regular and $31.50 for large. That’s outrageous. Shame bc the food is decent and reasonably priced when you go into the store ETA: to the store owner’s response, I understand Uber has it’s fees but there’s no reason for you to mark up the price by THAT much. That’s ridiculous. Sorry.
