Everything we had was delicious and plated thoughtfully. We especially enjoyed the black dragon roll, it was interesting and quite flavorful. Additionally we received many complimentary appetizers and even dessert! We had a wonderful meal and hope to return soon.
Amazing spot! I had eel sashimi and salmon avocado roll. We got miso on the house and some free wasabi ice cream which was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!
Great sushi - very fresh and tasty with attention to detail in presentation. The owner/chef was very accommodating in describing each type of sushi and accompaniments, and the price was reasonable for food of this quality. Highly recommended.
First time here, service was quick and attentive. Sushi was fresh and they accommodated rolls with brown rice. We also tried their wasabi ice cream and it was excellent! We’ll be back.
This place is ok, better than their neighbours a few doors down. But the food is a bit disproportionate. For the prices, the portions are small. I enjoy a chirashi Don (sashimi pieces on sushi rice). I ordered one and the bed of rice was jasmine rice not sushi rice, bland - the sashimi pieces were slightly smaller than expected. The portions need to improve. Update: Read through some older reviews and there is one from a year ago and they have like comments with a photo to compare. Portions are significantly different.
We have dined in person and also order for pick up. The sushi is great but the prep time is terrible. For our seated meal, it took nearly 40 mins for our sushi to arrive. There was even a couple that left about 20 mins after being seated after no one took their order. They seem to prioritize online orders, so we placed an Uber order. The estimated pick up time we got was 2 HOURS!! We couldn’t even cancel it because Uber gives them 1 hour to prepare the meal. I don’t know why this restaurant even accepted the order. Anyway, great sushi but order a day or two ahead.
Saw the reviews and was excited to try this place out but was disappointed when we found a strand of HAIR in the nigiri. They also never called to let us know when our order was ready. Portions are small especially for the nigiri, not worth the $$ to be honest. We got the maki sushi platter. Looks good in photos but in person the pieces are tiny. But yeah half way through eating we found a strand of hair in our food, was instantly disgusted and lost our entire appetite
