If you want to have top-quality cocktails by what seem like Toronto’s best bartenders while having the service quality of a small family restaurant, swing by. Ambience is a 12/10 (not a typo), but I want this review to be more about the service and drink quality.
My friends used to live in this building so we went to lunch here often. The food, service and security was always top tier. Last year I had a mind blowing Buddha Bowl I still think about often. Recently, I called them back to inquire about the recipe. Nico* at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful- he got the sous chef to personally email me the recipe. Thank you Epoch and Ritz Carlton team for going above and beyond for a truly unforgettable meal!
Holiday market was amazing and the festive decorations & Tiffany blue car is a great highlight, though I ate some bones from the ox tail pie, but overall the food is okay
Definitely doesn't feel like a 5 star, we were a table of 6 with combined 3 round small table in the hallway, with people walking in and out like the subway station... paid top dollar and felt like dinner, food was hood but not wow for tge momey psid !
Loveeeed the afternoon tea at EPOCH. You would think it’s not enough but it is. Trust me. It is so filling. The scones with the cream was amazing! The staff were very kind and explained each item and provided her recommendations. The selection of tea were floral and they provided timers to know when your tea would be done steeping. Great for a girls brunch!

We were lucky to be seated in a cozy room by the fireplace, which added the perfect festive touch to our afternoon. The space felt warm, intimate, and elegant, setting the tone for a luxurious tea experience. The tea presentation was impressive—a beautiful box was brought to the table, filled with small glasses of various tea leaves, allowing us to smell and select our preferred tea. It made the experience feel more personalized and elevated. And the little sand timer was even more interesting ! The Christmas-themed pastries were absolutely adorable and delicious, with a lot of thought clearly put into both flavor and design. From sweet to savory, each bite felt festive and indulgent. Overall, the Ritz-Carlton afternoon tea during the holidays is a 5-star experience—refined, festive, and wonderfully executed. Whether you’re celebrating or simply treating yourself, it’s a must-visit for afternoon tea lovers during the holiday season.
