I was hoping a little more of the atmosphere, it is okay. We got the special menu of $45 each and it was good, you feel good after having entrance, main and dessert. I had the grilled octopus and the hummus was a surprised in the dish, not bad but I wasn’t expecting it. My boyfriend had the paella, and it wasn’t bad, but it had mushrooms and that took us by surprise in a bad way because we didn’t see it in the ingredients. Decent portion but I don’t believe you could share. The desserts were creme brûlée and chocolate mousse and got to say the chocolate mousse was very very silky and nice. We had cocktails and they looked nice, and the quality of the drinks felt good too. We had courtesy wine because we were celebrating a birthday, and it was a Porto, it went well with the sweets (I’m not sure if those were meant to go together, but we enjoyed it) The waiter was friendly and he answered our questions, he brought the food in the perfect temperature, and the drinks on time.
Love this restaurant! Food excellent; wines too. But best was the service. Poi and Orysia were phenomenal - thank you for looking after us. We had a great time. Great ambiance too.
Excellent food and service in a great location that is surprisingly larger than it looks. A patio right on the street, another in the grotto like entrance give a unique indoor/outdoor experience without feeling like you're sitting on the sidewalk. The inside has smaller rooms that can be cozy or allow large groups like the 15 or so they seated for a party I attended. The wait staff was attentive without being crowding, just the right combination of taking care of your experience and giving you space to enjoy it. Would definitely recommend and will return without a doubt.
Very friendly service, both cordial and business like which is all you can ask for for dinner with friends. If you get Poi as your server you will never want to leave this place. Food was very good - we loved cataplana and octopus the most. Portugese wines pair very well with the food. We will be back soon.
Had an amazing dinner experience at the restaurant. Both food and service were great! The grilled octopus, shrimp arancini, beef sliders and house made bread were so delicious and flavourful! All their ingredients are fresh and portions were really good.
The food was delicious at Flor 2 - the shrimp, paella, cod tempura, arancini, steak, ..., just to name a few dishes. The servers were very friendly. Prices were very reasonable for a tapa place. It is literally a hidden gem - the entrance to the restaurant is off Crawford and it's not immediately visible to someone driving by on College. Flor 2 deserves more recognition. Highly recommended!
So good. Can't complain. Maybe should add Sagres beers to the list as they are Portuguese. 5 stats all around! Had a beer and the Octopus. It was perfect!!
