I am a regular diner at this restaurant and absolutely LOVE it here! I’m not one to usually leave a review, but I did notice the recent low review from a Christmas party and thought I would add my two cents. I was at the restaurant dining on this night. Although I didn’t see any incidents with the Santa, I did witness to attempt to basically take over the whole restaurant, while many other families were dining, to boisterously play a trivia game. It was very noisy and I did notice the owner ask them to keep it down. I understand if they wanted to play, but you’d assume you’d be booking the whole restaurant in that case. Anyway, just wanted to add my 5 stars so anyone looking for a wonderful dinner experience give it a try.
I just had a Christmas party with some coworkers and we a had a great time! The service was great and the food was amazing!! I am definitely going there again and I am looking forward to bringing my family and enjoy the food at this wonderful restaurant! Bravo fuoco mio!!
We recently held our Christmas party at this restaurant.. 25 guests Usually a fun festive get together turned sour whenthe owner was offended when our Santa arrived bringing holiday cheer..Basically asking him to leave.. Secondly we played Christmas Trivia which one of our members put together.. again the owner approached our member asking him to be quiet!!! A. You accepted our reservation B you accepted our money C You put a damper on our evening in your wrinkled T shirt D We won’t be back
I'd like to rate 3.5 because I think this place has potential. We live in the neighbourhood, and our first two visits were good. Food is decent...nothing outstanding. We made reservations in advance for these two visits. The third visit we were turned away with our kids because they said they couldn't accommodate us...even though there were a few open tables that could have been shifted to make it work. Not sure the reason...and hope it wasn't because we were dressed quite casual on a Saturday night. It's possible it was because it was an hour before closing. They didn't provide a reason and simply told they couldn't seat us, which was bizarre. We walked away surprised/taken aback by their decision...and had dinner at Campo on Jane street.
Lovely spot with a well curated collection of excellent Italian dishes. The pasta is fresh and all the dishes we've had were delicious and satisfying. The portions are great as well.
I may not know much, but I know sandwiches, and I can confidently say the signature Fuoco Mio panini is the perfect sandwich. Frank is a master of his craft, there isn’t a single miss on his menu. He cares a lot about the quality of his ingredients, and it shows. I can’t recommend this place enough.
Delicious food! Good quality, friendly service and fast! I will back! Edit: long waiting for get my order, I waste my money, never ask for chicken sandwich and Italian sausage. When I order, they said 20 minutes, after waiting for 40 and ask again, they gave a different orden and I had waiting again.
