Sadly a poor experience. Our food was mediocre at best. Very little sauce in chicken parm, dry and flat , heavy with pasta and deep fried chicken. Burger was good with nice toppings , fries were not fresh cut. Worst part was that the waitress spent most of her time out the front door vaping!!!! Ewwwweeee. And then serving food after sharing her vape. She was definitely was not interested in focusing on her customers. Also. The smell of weed was unappetizing! Not sure if where it was coming from Won’t be returning. I’d rather pay higher prices for a better experience
Not very pleased with the recent management of this Gabby's location starting with food portions which are very small all things considered. Could you just raise the price a little bit more and provide guests with enough food to enjoy? Also we had a less than ideal experience with one of the serves who took almost half an hour to get us our bill when we asked for it...infact after we got our bill, the server proceeded to not wait for us to pay and went to go serve other customers and left us hanging for a very long time which isn't very considerate after a lack luster experience. These areas need to improved if they would like to be a contending bar / restaurant in the city.
I was looking for a breakfast place on Roncy and noticed that Gabby's just started offering breakfast/brunch. My family and I took advantage and were very pleased. I was anticipating basic diner quality but the breakfast exceeded expectations - the ingredients used were very good, and the quality of cooking was excellent. The food was more like something that would be found at a fancier brunch place. The service was also fabulous in the morning. I have found the evening service to be a bit lack lustre. Will be back for breakfast.
This is a consistent pub chain with good pub food, and great service. Comfortable booth seats, and good old rock music playing at a nice volume for conversation.
Nice local bar on Roncy. We had the fish tacos and gave the Bison Burger a try, both were decent. The fries were perfectly crispy, just the right amount. No non-alcoholic beer options, I had iced tea. Returned another day for the California chicken sandwich with fries. No Tabasco :(
The best wings I've had in a LONG time, blue chz or ranch, with some celery and carrots, nice plump juicy wings with great sauces. Be careful on half price wing days
I went here with my youngest for lunch. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was standard pub/bar fare - tasty and fresh enough. The atmosphere there was good. A few folks watching sports on the televisions and some interesting patrons who were clearly locals. While I didn't feel unsafe, some of the language thrown around by some of the other customers was a bit too colorful for my liking (at least at lunch hour with kids in the place). Maybe it was an off day, but while this element was perhaps not the fault of the establishment, it certainly puts a damper on me wanting to go back at the same time with my kids. It's a decent enough place to stop for lunch, but there are other, more family-friendly places to eat.
