I didn’t realize a new place had opened in the neighborhood, but I’m so glad we discovered Greedy Goose. Resma- you’re a star. We are still amazed!!! (Table beside the door) Even with how busy it was, she remained kind, efficient, and incredibly attentive. The $5.95 beer deal is a great bonus! We went with a group of four and tried the steak and breakfast dishes, and everything was delicious. Shout out to the chef. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be back again
The food is excessively oily and the menu should be reconsidered. There are too many choices, which makes it difficult to maintain quality across all dishes. Even the fries, which should be simple, taste unpleasant
While I enjoyed the brunch that I got, someone else in our party with celiacs disease was served food that not fully gluten-free and he is now very sick. This was after he clearly indicated to our server that he has a gluten allergy and could only have gluten-free food that was not cross-contaminated. After he consumed his food, the server later mentioned that she did not know what on the menu was gluten-free, and neither did the kitchen staff. All they knew was that eggs and meat don't have gluten, but it's obvious that none of them understand what no cross contamination means. It's highly likely they used cross contaminated kitchen equipment. This is extremely irresponsible for a restaurant business. We will not be coming back until you have properly trained servers and kitchen staff. For now, I don't consider this a safe place for anyone with a gluten allergy / celiacs disease (which is many people).
I’ve been here several times over the last couple weeks and Arezu has been my waitress most nights - she’s been friendly, taken my order quickly, and made sure the food has been out while still piping hot. My only complaint from the last few weeks is that the AC has been out the entire time - they have ceiling fans inside, but they aren’t enough. (The women’s rooms are another ick, but that’s been a problem since this place was the foggy dew). If you can handle traffic/construction noises, sit on the patio.
I had an amazing dining experience! The meal was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. The portions were huge, so be prepared! The atmosphere was also great, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend! Yogi
I really wanted to like this place because I live upstairs. Was excited to see a new bar take over the space, not to mention a bar that doesn’t have pretentious King West vibes. It was Friday night and it wasn’t busy (which was exactly what my friend and I were looking for). We sat down, were not given menus. When the server came over she handed us menus and asked for drink orders right away. We asked for a minute, but she disappeared for quite sometime. We ordered 2 beers and Nachos with no green onions. Figured she had the order down packed, considering she took it on her purple cell phone. But no, our nachos came with green onions (I have an intolerance), and the cheese was not melted. She only brought 1 napkin for the 2 of us to share. Never checked on us until she wanted us to settle up so she could leave for the night. We asked for waters, and she only brought one. Judging by her demeanor, she must be related to the owner and working there as a favor. Because she was terrible and clearly did not want to be there. The booths were comfy though.
I came here for lunch because I was working in the building across the street. Lucie was bartending and provided wonderful service. I'll definitely be back soon because she's fantastic and always smiling! The food was delicious!
