Great food, great vibes, but let’s be honest—the real reason to come here is Megan behind the bar. Her drinks are dangerously good, her energy is unmatched, and she somehow remembers everyone while making the place feel like a party. Sit at the bar, trust her with your order, and prepare to have a better night than you planned. Five stars, zero regrets, and yes… I'll be back.
First time here, it’s on a busy street but was empty?! Well, the food is inedible. Calamari is rubber and tastes like fish sticks, the chicken fingers are thin as schnitzel, see through, and full of gristle. The beer was sour and had an off putting after taste. I ordered a frozen margarita and received it on the rocks — not a big deal, but combined with of the horrible food it was the cherry on top. Chicken fingers and fries were $18.95 before tax… would you pay for that? I see why it’s empty now…..
Great service server are friendly shows proffessionalsm good customer interaction. Special y to sumana sky great attitude and smile make us feeling comfortable during our stay went back twice food was great. Environment and tidy super clean specially washroom is extremely clean I’m content. I’ll recommend this bar of yours. Cheers sumana, and sky kodos to them. Cheers?
Our family recently visited Hoops in Toronto, and overall, we had a good experience. It’s a fantastic sports bar with TVs everywhere—even on the floor—which was a unique touch that added to the lively atmosphere. The menu had a good variety, and while we didn’t see a kids’ menu listed, our waitress let us know that they had one, which was a nice bonus. Everyone at our table seemed to enjoy their food, and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, I wasn’t entirely happy with my own dish. I ordered the steak sandwich, but the steak was quite tough, which was disappointing. On the bright side, the service was great—our waitress was friendly and attentive. Despite my meal not being perfect, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I’d consider giving it another try.
Ok so the music is horrible, food is bad BUT THE zSERVICE IS AMAZING. Our server Eva was super quick, no mistakes and very kind. Honestly, if they just hired a better dj or kept to a set track list that didn’t blow out my eardrums this place would be fantastic.
Stopped off in this place to make my way to the Cavs game against Raptors. Stopped off on the way to the hotel. If I could define Welcoming it would be this place. Thanks all for your hospitality ❤️ P.S. Megan& ariana put 110% in to making you feel welcome.
I came out to Hoops Sports Bar & Grill because I heard they host Karaoke here. I was served by Eva and she was absolutely lovely. She was warm and welcoming, followed up with me in a timely manner to see how my food was, whether I wanted a refill on my drink and was also kind enough to bring me the karaoke book so I could go through the list of songs I wanted to sing tonight. The food was okay, could have been better but the service was great and made up for it!! April 25th: I'm back again 2 months later and coincidentally out of all days Eva happened to be my server again!! I came out for karaoke this evening, ordered the chicken quesadilla which was great and was really impressed with Eva's service that I had to come back on here and update my review. Even after I paid my bill, left Eva a tip and told her I would stay for the remainder of the night to sing I really appreciated that she continued to serve, follow up with me and bring me hot water because she knew I had a sore throat without me having to ask her. It's moments like that, that needed to be recognized I ended up handing her another tip for going that little extra mile for me to ensure that I was taken care of. Please send her my regards and let her know she's very much appreciated!
