I would never come to this place again. Bad attitude, the food was mid and if you're trying Ethiopian food for the first time, this is not the right place, and rude to the delivery driver this is not who we are as a people, how they treat the delivery driver is what prompt me to write this review

This restaurant truly transformed my view of Ethiopian cuisine — from the fresh, delicious bread and vibrant veggie and meat platters to the authentic coffee ceremony, every detail felt warm and memorable. The service was attentive, the owner’s thoughtful gestures stood out, and the lively yet cozy atmosphere made the experience unforgettable. With the flavours lingering like favourite music in the background, this place is a must-visit for anyone seeking authenticity, comfort, and hospitality.

I ordered takeout based on previous reviews and the food did not disappoint. As a visitor to Canada, I’ll be sure to try this restaurant again the next time I am here.

Beautifully decorated space with a unique charm. Our server , Sara was exceptionally attentive and kind, she provided us with some great recommendations that gave us an awesome dining experience. Service was prompt, and the food was outstanding.

Took out my Ethiopian friend for a birthday feast. Got some lamb and spicy beef with some veggies (don't remember exact dish names) and man, top notch stuff. Really liked the sauce on the beef, and the lamb was cooked beautifully. Servers were really kind and outgoing. And bonus that it's right next to St. Paul's Basilica. Would love to come again

The owner she is very rude and the food so crease specially when they see you are not Ethiopian and you order a dish they giving something else that you didn’t order and they make you is the dish order they are very disrespectful.

I came here with some of my friends for a catch up dinner before a show. We love Ethiopian food as it is a communal, tactile eating experience and has a unique flavor profile. The food we got was fantastic. Only draw back was that they were burning so much incense that, by the time they brought out MORE to our table, it turned into a bit of a comedy. It’s not to say that it smelled bad; it was just a lot and we weren’t expecting it!

Hi Russell, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent visit and for such great review! We work really hard to offer the best food in the best possible environment, so I am happy to see that reflected on your last visit. In regards to the incense. It’s somewhat part of the tradition during an Ethiopian coffee ceremony. Hope to see you again soon! Management
