The place was packed for a Tuesday night. I walked up and down king trying to find a place that had sound for the leafs game. The staff at King Taps did a great job. They coordinated a small personal speaker for me to have sound while watching the game. Would definitely recommend going for any games. If they dont have sound, they provide! Thank you King West King Taps! Go Leafs Go!
Do not ever come here we came after the raptors game they said my friend was too drunk when he had one drink and was completely sober, walking and talking normal we were absolutely appalled. We asked the security what the problem was and he would not give an answer that’s when we knew he was against disabled people as our friend has a disability that makes him respond slower, so disgusting to see companies like this.
Have been here a couple of times. I've had two business lunches and and a couple of after work gatherings that led into the wee hours of the morning. Menu is great, servers are fantastic and knowledgable. Would recommend KIng Taps (KW).
I actually Love this place. it was raining outside and we were kind of in a rush for our reservation and already the security outside was very odd. Imagine being discriminated by your own and you’re just a regular person. regardless we went to have a good time and we were automatically greeted with smiling faces. we were very excited to try many different things. our waitress, a blonde girl, didn’t seem too happy and we kept apologizing and trying to brighten her day. but she was just not happy at all. She looked super annoyed by us because we were excited to order different foods. We had just worked a crazy weekend. We just wanted to have some fun. I don’t know if it was who you are. We came in with basic clothes. We are downtown Toronto, and it looks like a lot of pretentious people come around. But just cause we werent dressed up didnt mean we didnt deserve a happy waitress. We would order and ask for things and other waitresses would come and they were so happy and sweet. Regardless when we were done, the waitress got all cash and tip she probably didnt deserve but hopefully it makes her day
This is solely just for the stuck up blonde female server we had on Tuesday night. Me and my group came here for drinks when we finished happy hour at a nearby restaurant and I don’t know what was up with our server. Every time we tried to order something, she would talk to us like we were such an annoyance. A few of us ordered some shots and when I tried to reach over to hand out the shots to my friend, she rudely and abruptly said “that’s not yours” like yeah girl I know that, I was simply trying to pass it to her. She was just a total buzzkill the whole night, everyone at my table found her to be so uptight for no reason. Maybe don’t be a server if customer service isn’t your strong suit.
After dining at King Taps recently, we ended up with food poisoning. Additionally, the service was subpar —our server, Mitch, took an unreasonably long time to attend to our table, and we experienced significant delays in receiving our food. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this establishment.
