“PIECE OF GLASS” found in chicken biryani that BROKE MY TOOTH and pierced my gums. This is absolutely disgusting. Is this level of healthy and safety you consider while serving food with dangerous material in it? Is this what Canadian Standards are of your restaurant? I ordered this on Wednesday 22nd Oct evening on Uber eats if you want to verify who served this without following health and safety standards!!
Food is not fresh. They just throw the food in the microwave. I am not taking this risk. Seating is horrible. Tables are not clean. Hygiene is nonexistent.
I tried their butter chicken with naan about a month ago, and it was fantastic — the portions, taste, and price were all great. I was craving it today, so I ordered it again. Oh man, this was nothing like what I had before. This doesn’t feel like butter chicken to me; it’s just chicken in a butter chicken sauce. Isn’t it supposed to be made with tandoori chicken? Very disappointing, and the portions are smaller than before.
Went in there on a colleague's suggestion and to try as an alternative to my usual at Curry Kitchen next door. I ordered the chicken shawarma and though I was first in line he completed the orders for the other two behind me. There was no visible meat skewer...but when I had the shawarma - meat was 1/3 down into the wrap, dry and probably older meat. Taste was not bad due to the sauce and veggies, but definitely not fresh...maybe their other items are good. Prices were good!
I was just passing from dundas and saw the board with discounts so I thought To try lamb biryani the taste was horrible with all meat smell no hygenic Bengali guys they even I took the gulag jamun and all really sad to say I wasted my $16 overall please never visit this place just by seeing the low prices food is horrible
Positives: cheap. 16.50 for beef curry, naan, a drink and a ton of rice Negatives: Lacked flavour. The rice was really dry and was begging for more sauce. Even 10% more would have helped out a lot Neutral: The guy at the till asked me to sit at the window. I've never been to a counter service place that asked me to sit at a specific place. Maybe he wanted it to look more busy for people passing by? I don't know. I would have sat there anyway, so not a negative for me. Conclusion: would go back if I was in the area and wanted something cheap, but I'd try something different. Will try other restaurants in the area first
The biryani was okayish. Indian taste to it but still needed more spices... Good for Canadians who can't tolerate much spice. Also the price to quantity ratio was amazing!
