I've tried a few of the dishes here. Karekare, Caldereta, Pinakbet. They seem to put a lot of sugar in these. They were not savory like most other restaurants. They are sweet. A little off putting for me. I actually think they are made well, since the meat are tender. They even make them with boneless meat. It's a shame these are just too sweet for my liking. I've had their pork sinigang, it's good. Sour and savory, may need some radish and some greens. Otherwise, it's pretty good. I live in the area and crave filipino. Was happy to see this place nearby when I moved but the thought of having a sweet entree prevents me from stopping by more often.
We ordered Pork bbq, kare-kare, calderata. and before this we also tried their other menu as well. I understand the pork bbq but caldereta and kare-kare even pinakbet sweet? If you’re a fan of desserts go to this place as almost everything on their menu is sweet. it’s like eating a main course and a desserts at the same time in one bite.
I cannot express how tasty the food was in here. As a big time fan of the seafood, I completely enjoyed this meal with a group of my friends. Would recommend to try and would love to come back sometime!
I always went here coz they serve good food. But today i was dissatisfied. I found a little shiny thing on my cauliflower and found out its a piece of i think its a steel wool for scrubbing stuff. I hope they be careful next time they serve food.
I recently ordered from Lechon Republica and found their food to be absolutely delicious! The lechon was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the sides were fantastic. I also tried the Sinigang na Baboy and Kare Kare, both of which were exceptional – flavorful and cooked to perfection. However, the packaging could use some improvement as it didn't hold up well during delivery. Overall, the food is great, but better packaging would make the experience even better.
Food tastes good, staff were friendly. The lechon skin was nice and crunchy, the meat was flavorful. They offer meals of rice plus 1 meat and 1 rice + meat + vegetable. Everything was reasonably priced and good portions.
I can’t stop ordering food from this place. I’m always pleasantly surprised and astonished by their flavours, reasonable prices and generous portions. Especially how perfectly tender and flavourful all the meats are. I will come dine in just to remind them that their food is fantastic!
