Food is excellent, drinks are top tier, and the service is very attentive. We had our company holiday party at Mezcalero. Their events team is easy to work with, made planning a breeze. Also, the tacos are insanely good, will be returning.
This place is a hidden gem. My girlfriend and I have been going for well over a year and can’t get enough. Best margs in the city with amazing tacos and a must try guac bar. In the summer the happy hour plus the patio is a slam dunk. Would recommend to anyone.

The food was pretty good and the renovation of the restaurant is really nice but above all else the service was fantastic. Our waitress was really nice and made my dad’s birthday very special!
A Mexican place with more than just tacos and burritos!!! - Great service - Friendly staff - Food arrived promptly - Peachy Dream cocktail got me into a good mood - Octopus a la Parrilla was not chewy - Carne Asada - the steak was a little overcooked but was still tender and tasty - Won't break your bank!!! I'd go back.
I am supposed to give over 4 stars because I like the food there. Only thing disappointed me was the bill was wrong but I noticed after I left. We ordered two cocktail drinks during happy hour time at 17:45 and we confirmed with waiter if it’s still happy hour, and he said yes. But the bill still charged us the normal price. We didn’t look at the bill carefully but we were thinking why is this amount after we left, and after calculation the answer was wrong charge since we can remember every dish and drink’s price. I didn’t take photo of bill or receipt, not sure if it’s on purpose or neglect, somehow it was not pleasant.
It’s the real thing. Traditional mezcal cocktails, mostly authentic empanadas (cheese has Pimento? But still good), 10/10 experience would go again. Get the Mezcalarita
