Always love this place for a light meal, and we just used their services to cater a large event and it was incredible. Fresh, delicious, and beautifully arranged. Highly recommend.
I've been coming forever. Great brunch or lunch spot with a nice front patio. My absolute addiction is their amazing club sandwich. SO GOOD. #contestentry
It’s always a pleasure to enjoy a meal in a thoughtfully curated space like Mocha Mocha, where the food and atmosphere are clearly given great attention. However, I find myself perplexed by a seemingly overlooked yet critical detail—the presence of strong perfumes and body sprays worn by the very people preparing and serving the food. If I can smell these scents lingering in the air, it means their chemical particles are not only inhaled but also settling onto the food itself. This raises an important question: If we wouldn’t accept a chef smoking a cigarette while preparing our meal, why do we accept the presence of airborne chemicals from scented products in a food service setting? I’ve taken this concern to Canada’s Minister of Health, Mark Holland, who affirmed that all workplaces should be fragrance-free or actively working toward that goal. The reasoning is clear: airborne chemicals from fragrances, much like secondhand smoke, pose potential health risks. Restaurants, especially those that promote healthy eating, should be held to an even higher standard in protecting the integrity of the dining experience. Many of us are meticulous about the quality of the food we consume and the purity of the water we drink, yet we often overlook the most immediate and essential factor—air quality. The presence of artificial fragrances in a place designed to nourish and sustain us feels like a contradiction. Mocha Mocha has already established itself as a place that values quality and well-being. I hope they will take the next logical step and implement a fragrance-free policy for their staff, ensuring that the health-conscious principles they uphold extend to every aspect of the dining experience.
I love the food: it’s fresh, filling and reasonable. I’ve never had a bad meal. Lovely staff and owners. I usually get the bean burrito or fish cakes or fiesta platter. All are amazing
Have been going to Mocha Mocha since it opened.Food has always been consistently good.My negative,is having to listen to staff that are watching videos on thier phones, while on thier lunch break. As a customer,I don't want to listen to that.It was loud and very annoying. My suggestion: Have your staff use earphones. This has happened the past 3 times I have been there.
This is one of my favourite places on the Danforth. Always fresh and so flavourful. Helpful staff and they deliver. Chicken Enchilada, Beef Empanadas and their most delicious salads and dressing. Update, May 2025, the second time my Chicken Enchilada has been a let down. I know people have bad days, but not much cheese or sauce on them and quite dry also, rotten avocado.
Used to be a great place for brunch. I was a regular. Recently they increased the prices and reduced the portions of all items. That was a bad move for the regulars The service quality also changed. The turnover rate of the employees is very high. So we decided to find something else that will have more value for our money. You should do the same.
