I popped in for a drink yesterday. I was immediately greeted by Liwam, who has got to be the sweetest person ever. Got me the menu, answered my questions, tried to find me the perfect spot to work on, and kept the friendliest but most professional conversation throughout. 10/10 service and because of that, I’ll be back! The place is also decorated so beautifully. I love how quiet it was.
Was nice having breakfast at Mossoop’s Social House. Lot of variety for being vegetarian. Really appreciated Liwam and Feven’s friendly service. Will be back tomorrow for the shakshuka eggs!
Great ambiance and love the decor of the place. They have various seating areas to choose from. Always have spots available. Great quiet and relaxing cafe amidst the busy downtown. I’ve enjoyed having my coffee chats here
The restaurant booked a private function, but didn’t bother to block reservations. Ended up having to move to another restaurant, despite having booked a table for 9 people. Pretty bush league. Can’t comment on the food or atmosphere because… we were told to leave. Guess we will never find out if it’s any good
This place is such a hidden gem. Beautiful setting and great cocktails. Also, give Colin the bartender a raise, he makes a mean espresso martini and is such a ray of sunshine!
Disappointing Experience at Mossop’s Social House. I recently visited Mossop’s Social House, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a cafe. Despite the place being completely empty, I waited at least 20 minutes for two lattes. The server, Chris, seemed completely lost at the checkout, struggling to process our payment. He gave us the wrong bill three times, overcharging us with items we didn’t order. To make matters worse, the girl making the coffee had no idea what she was doing. Each latte took her around 10 minutes, and instead of focusing on her work, she spent time on her phone while I waited. The place itself is nice, but the service was absolutely terrible. If you’re looking for good service or even just a quick coffee, this isn’t the place to go.
Food - Eggs Benedict was Delicious, Hollandaise Sauce was very creamy! Service - Staff were very friendly Atmosphere - Quiet, open, and inviting. Interior is beautiful!
