I had been to NeuLokal on various occasions before, but I can’t forget my experience last Sunday. While looking for a venue for our high school alumni gathering, I contacted Evrim and Bilge. They prepared a special menu for us, organized the tables and the ambiance, and even went far beyond making us feel at home with thoughtful touches like placing our school’s logo at the entrance and adding beautiful flowers to the tables. I am truly grateful to them. Thanks to their efforts, the alumni event I organized was a great success, and all 30 attendees left with a smile on their faces. From now on, we already know where we’ll be meeting next. Thank you very much for everything!
Worst Turkish place that I have ever been to . We arrived around 10pm . Got our drinks which were amazing . But after we ordered salmon and lamb chops . The food was overpriced . The lamb chops were the worst thing I ever had . I couldn’t even bite on them nether did my partner even the knife couldn’t cut it . After all they still tried to charge us for the lamb chops even though we never eat them . FOOD ItS So Bad . Also 40$ charge for listening the live music. AVOID THIs Place
We tried this restaurant for a nice evening out, but unfortunately it was a terrible experience. They first brought a lamb chop that was so tough I couldn’t cut it with my teeth, and the knife didn’t help either. We asked them to correct it, but the second lamb chop they brought was even worse. We told them we couldn’t eat it, yet they insisted that we still had to pay for the meat we couldn’t eat, and it even turned into an argument. Then they brought the dish back to our table even though we didn’t want it. Overall, it was a really bad evening and I do not recommend this place.
We went to watch Faith Amour and her band perform. I would love to see other local artists performing there! The entire night was delightful! The food is delicious!
Don’t go if you’re hungry or thirsty. Went to watch live music. It took the server 20mins to ask for our drinks. Then it took her another 25mins to bring them. (She brought a hot tea without sugar or milk) Asked for milk for the tea and that took 15mins (the tea was iced cold by the time the milk arrived. (There was only a dozen people in the restaurant, it wasn’t like she was overwhelmed). She finally took our food order and it took forever to come out. I ordered a second beer, after waiting 35 minutes for it to arrive I cancelled the beer and expressed my disappointment. The only reason this establishment got any positive ratings is its support of local music.

The owners, Bilge and Evrim, are equally wonderful, creating an environment that feels both cozy and vibrant. And the music? Simply outstanding! Their selection of Greek, Flamenco, Jazz, and Cuban rhythms sets the perfect mood, and the live performances take the experience to another level. If you're looking for a place with amazing food, top-notch service, and an incredible ambiance, Neu Lokal is a must-visit! Highly recommended!
