Ordered the 'Bo 7 Mon' which translates to '7 course of beef' and enjoyed the meal very much with gf. The pandan tea that was served and paired nicely with the meal. The only feedback I would give is that my gf is very much allergic to peanuts and we informed them no peanuts and unfortunately it was still in one of the dishes. Overall an enjoyable meal for the price.
Ordered pho, size XL take out multiple times and every time it has been consistently delicious. The broth is not like other places, it's not as sweet but very rich and flavourful. Having done take out, the broth solidifies in the fridge so you know it's all beef gelatin goodness. Give it a try and see/taste for yourself. Ignore the poor picture but the food quality is quite high and pho Kim has the best value. Picture: Half the bowl is basically meat (ignore the spinach I had to add something green). The beansprouts are so fresh it blends into the noodles. The cuts of meat are amazing...no end scraps...no large chunks of empty fat, just quality cuts and neat presentation of meats. Sorry for those who have had some service issues and experienced growing pains from the staff/owners based on the reviews but do give this place another try. With every restaurant there are huge costs and expenses and this is obviously a small family run business and they're trying very hard to offer a great place to share a meal. I'm not saying it's okay to have poor service/treatment but if you're trying to run this then you'd understand it probably gets quite hectic. For those who cannot tolerate any delays, maybe try more takeout, as whenever they have a moment of not serving customers', they're promptly filling out multiple orders. Owner and family staff have always been kind and courteous to us but I can only imagine how stressful it can get. Please have patience all around, the food is worth the wait.
I absolutely love this place. I got the vermicelli with Vietnamese sausage && grilled pork and it was the best I have ever had. I have had the pho here before also and honestly super delicious. The broth and the noodles were so goood. I definitely recommend this spot.
I was very disappointed with my visit to Pho Kim tonight. This place used to be our favourite pho spot, but this experience completely changed that. I found a hair in my food, which is completely unacceptable. The male server replaced my fresh spring roll, which I appreciated, but another staff member laughed after my partner said we’d just take the food to go because I had lost my appetite. That kind of reaction is unprofessional and made the experience even worse. Cleanliness and customer respect need serious improvement. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.
I've been coming here since opening day and I keep coming back! Everything I've had here has been delicious. The BEST vegetarian pho I've ever had in my life. Staff is friendly and make me feel so welcomed. Restaurant is always clean. The food always comes out quickly. My favourite restaurant in Toronto!
Would not recommend to anyone that's black. I went to get 4 fresh rolls and it took them an hour to make it for me. Everyone that was Asian that came to dine in were served before me. The owner was there that day and she was being extra racist. A black man came in to order something and she wouldn't let him pay with his card and wanted him to pay by cash while the person before him paid with a card. She had the nerve to hug me while giving me my food with her fake apology as if I was born yesterday. Who said I wanted you to touch me? Did I give you permission? Maybe go change your location to a neighborhood without black people if we bother you so much with our existence.
food was so bad, I wish I can swear on here man. waiting almost 1h for my food. everyone at my table got theirs but mine. owner running around fixing staff's mistakes/shortcoming. it was embarrassing. food did not even taste restaurant-level. worse than my mom's cooking. 1/5. would never come back.
