I’m from Colombia, and tasting these empanadas really reminded me of my country. They’re packed with lot of protein and have a homemade flavor, I recommend the beef one with the house ají. Also the service is very friendly, and trying them is truly worth it (coming from a Colombian).

I bought 3 GLUTEN FREE chicken empanadas at the Latino Festival in Oakville, nd they were amazing! So tasty, and the corn "shell" of the empanada was golden and crispy and tasty too. Not soggy at all. I am only sad that they are in Scarborough. Though I will definitely make the trip to stock up. Can't wait to try the other fillings!

Amazing spot to get gluten-free empanadas. We sometimes get the frozen ones to cook up at home at a later date, or buy 30 to serve at a party at home. I recommend calling in your order ahead of time, as it takes about 10min for them to prepare the empanadas

Well made and great tasting Empanadas. Saw reviews about it and honestly it’s delicious, if I wanted more I would have. Favourite is the beef empanada and the Buñelos.

This place has the nerve to charge $10 for 3 INCREDIBLY GRAINY empanadas. Not worth it for the value, the flavour, or the hassle. I felt so much salt that my sodium levels spiked mid day. This is not “real” or authentic. Go to Brasas if you want to experience something decent. This is a skip.

Good taste, crust perfectly fried and not too thick, salsa was flavorful and you can get a spicier option. These are a particular type of corn (not flour) empanadas and they are delicious.

Hmm not sure. The empanadas didn’t taste fresh and the beef one was more like a black bean. I hope they can improve on quality to stay in business in the long term.

Hi Dan, we fry up the empanadas right before serving. We use a process called par fry where we fry it to 3/4s of the way and store it in a heat controlled warmer just before serving at which point we fry it again for best flavour heat and crunchiness.
