Extremely memorable first time here. Took my girlfriend here for her birthday. It was simply outstanding. The food was incredible, and the staff even brought my girlfriend out a complimentary piece of cake as I had told them it was her birthday when I made the reservation. The views from this restaurant are also fantastic - with panoramic views of Toronto's skyline. Will definitely come back.
Let me begin by saying that the service and food here was amazing. We went here for a special event and everything was perfect. We arrived and had the valet take car away, and that is something that people should know: there is a valet so parking is easy. We arrived a bit early but the staff were more than accommodating and we were seating immediately where I requested to be seated which is near the window. The waitress was amazing and polite. She gave us a clear and concise outline of the menu and described the dishes beautifully.we had the Parmesan fries to share and this was a nice little snack that kept us munching during the conversation.One thing i must say is that the bread is not free, but it is well worth the couple of dollars for it. The bread was crusty and had an amazing flavor and the butter was more than buttery smooth. Next came the main meal,I had the lamb and my partner had the duck, both were amazing. Finally the dessert, we had the chocolate espresso dessert to share and it was decadent but very worth it. The chocolate flavor was amazing and the dish had many textures that helped to make the rich dessert palatable.You should come here just for the view of the city, honestly it was beautiful, but why not have one of the best meals you can get in Toronto while you are at it.
A very memorable first time at Scaramouche, a premier fine dining establishment in mid town Toronto. The valet greeted us as we pulled to the entrance, and offered a nice perk of complimentary valet service. So far, so good!Once we entered, we were seated immediately as we came in before the dinner rush. While our table was not directly by the windows we still got a very nice view of downtown Toronto. Now on to the food - everything was delicious and nicely presented. I had the lamb chops served medium well, and my wife had the steak which came out tender and juicy. Our waiter was attentive and described our choices in detail, and provided a great overview of the drinks menu. Overall a wonderful place for a night out, or even just a drink.
Absolutely delicious restaurant with amazing customer service. When making reservations I would recommend asking for a table near the window as they have an amazing view. The food was awesome outstanding and a great wine selection to pair. Cocktails were also very nice. If you like ginger try the Snapdragon. The portion size of each main course was perfect, a little small on the appetizers. But the quality of the food and flavors make it worth it.
The food was basically perfect. Nothing bad can be said. The soup was incredible, a perfect blend of flavours. For the main, I had pasta with steak, both perfectly cooked. The meat was so tender and juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Cappuccino at the end of the night was also delicious. Highly recommend.
