Brook Kavanagh, owner of Season Six, is the epitome of unprofessionalism and dishonesty. What should have been a simple, celebratory party on September 20th, 2025, turned into a lesson in how not to treat paying customers. Prior to the event, I confirmed arrangements in good faith, explicitly asking about last-minute changes in attendance. I was assured that unforeseen absences would not result in financial penalties. Based on these assurances, I booked and paid for my party. At the end of the night, I was pressured into buying expensive bottles of alcohol to “meet the minimum spend”—a calculation that was incorrect and clearly designed to extract extra money. I was subsequently overcharged $386.69 for four guests who didn’t attend due to legitimate, unforeseen circumstances. What followed has been even more outrageous: Brook has screened my calls, ignored my emails, and failed to honor repeated promises to reimburse me. This is not a misunderstanding or a small mistake—it is a deliberate attempt to keep money that was not owed. Brook’s behavior shows complete disregard for honesty, transparency, and basic customer respect. Season Six may look nice and serve decent food, but dealing with the owner is a masterclass in frustration and exploitation. Avoid this place unless you want to be ignored, overcharged, and treated like your money is more important than your dignity.
Excellent food and service is top notch. We came in as walk ins on a busy Saturday night and they really tried to work with us to squeeze us in when it would have been easier for them to turn us away. I would definitely come back.
Server was really nice, and is comfy but my God, food is bad and prices are insane. $30 for a dull Risotto and with the rigatoni, something in the sauce was spoiled. No disrespect really, but you need to check the kitchen
Where to begin! Had a lovely mother daughter date at this place but my mom and I fell so in love with Shamps!!!!!! Her energy, attentiveness, professionalism, gorgeous outfit — “I loved everything about her, she was the only server in the room.” So many beautiful restaurants on the street but this one stands out because of servers like her.
Lovely space with a diverse selection on the menu. Very fun cocktails and really great wines. Food was delicious, especially the rigatoni. It was quite hot though, they need to keep the a/c cranked.
A VERY disappointing brunch. We were given the menu. I ordered one thing. The server came back to say they didn’t have it today. Then ordered a different item - she came back and said they couldn’t do that one either. Why didn’t she know and say so at the outset!? They were not at all busy and we waited AGES for the underwhelming food to be served. Will not be going back or recommending it
The food was great, the waitress was very friendly, and lunch with my wife was very good until the moment that a bad employee, I believe he is the manager, started treating an employee very badly in front of us, this is not the role of a good manager, this has always been a restaurant that I used to go to with my wife but from today we will not go anymore, our waitress was extremely friendly and she was humiliated by the manager, please review who is managing this restaurant. My wife and I decided to expose this situation because we really didn't like the manager's attitude.
